Certainly old and only just hanging together when this picture was taken in 2007. It appears to have once had a finial which has been broken off. The arms appear to be contemporary with the pillar although they affixed by modern steel banding. At the junction of Shire Lane and Station Approach near railway bridge. Grid ref: TQ 0244 9624

At the junction with Henley Road (A4130) and Hurley High Street. Although without finial and arms it is recognisable as an example made by W H Smith of Whitchurch, Salop. Grid ref: SU 8274 8312. Surviving pre-1939 fingerposts are very rare in Berkshire and this is one of only two known examples. Probably dates to first decade of C20.

Two alternate cycle routes to Lenzkirch - the steep one and the other one.
Experimenting with my Holga N. This is a basic, plastic lensed, flashless Holga. Looks like there's a spot of light leakage in this shot, which I was expecting as the casing wasn't 100% locked down.
The shot is of a signpost at one of the entrances to Runnymede meadow.
