This old PRR signal tower sits on the Northwest end of the Pavonia Yard in Camden, NJ. There is another signal tower on the same side about 1/2 mile further into the yard. Not sure what type of signal tower this is or how it was used. I hope Lampy can shed some light on this. At this section of the yard the tracks are leading to the main lines north of the city. Pavonia Yard use to be avery busy yard in its day. It is only a mere shadow of what it use to be.
Old signalling equipment from the Durham Coast line , shamefully dumped near the old station at Greatham , near Hartlepool , I don`t know if any of them are going to be saved but many of the signal arma are bent and broken .
A creek near Signal Mountain. Chattanooga, Tennessee is located in the eastern part of the state on the Cumberland Plateau. The city is surrounded by gorges, mountains and beautiful countryside. It has been experiencing a revitalization lately.
