The Peleides Blue Morpho, Common Morpho,[1] or The Emperor[2] (Morpho peleides) is an iridescent tropical butterfly found in Mexico, Central America, northern South America, Paraguay, and Trinidad. Many authorities[which?] believe that peleides is a subspecies of Morpho helenor.
The brilliant blue color in the butterfly's wings is caused by the diffraction of the light from millions of tiny scales on its wings. It uses this to frighten away predators, by flashing its wings rapidly. The wingspan of the Blue Morpho butterfly ranges from 7.5–20 cm (3.0–7.9 in). The entire Blue Morpho butterfly lifecycle, from egg to adult is only 115 days. Known larval foodplants are Leguminosae (Arachis hypogaea, Dioclea wilsonii,Inga, spp., Lonchocarpus, Machaerium cobanense, Machaerium salvadorense, Machaerium seemannii, Medicago sativa, Mucuna mutisiana, Pithecellobium Pterocarpus rohrii and Mucuna urens) and Bignoniaceae (Paragonia pyramidata). Morpho peleides drinks the juices from rotting fruits for food. Its favourites in captivity are mango, kiwi, and lychee. Morpho peleides butterflies live in the rainforests of South America, and can be found in Mexico and Central America.
The larvae of Morpho peleides butterflies are occasional cannibals. The caterpillar Blue Morpho butterfly is red-brown with patches of bright green.
The Morpho peleides butterflies stick together in groups to deter their predators, a form of mobbing behavior.

Various pics of my Oscilloscope computer case.
Started lfe as a 1960's vintage Bell and Howell Schools oscilloscope. Gutted it, added a $10 "plasma disk" in place of the old CRT tube display, did some Dremel'ing, sanding, hacksawing and drilling...and now it's a computer case.
The 'scope itself was about $10 on eBay, the motherboard/CPU is nothing special, a Celeron D 315 2.13ghz and all the other parts are spares, extras, and scavenged stuff from my scrap pile.
The front panel buttons and knobs operate the DVD-RW drive open/close, turning the display on/off, and the reset and power switches.

We all #love getting attention and being noticed. But sometimes it goes overboard. In present times, #children are turning into attention seekers. The age of social media and Internet has engulfed people in its fetters. Children leave no stone unturned to seek attention, resorting to most stupid, meaningless and illogical means. Hankering after attention has become the latest #fad for which the interest seems to be mounting each day. The changing behavioral patterns of a child drills in him or her the hunger for attention. #Attention is both positive and negative. It has both good impact and bad effects as well. The yearning for attention should not go to extremes to the point of being irksome and obnoxious. Parents and family members go through a lot to get rid of attention-seeking behaviors of their child so that he could do away with the futile things. The #trivia has chained the kids tightly these days. Read More here : askopinion.com/is-your-child-attention-seeker-and-how-to-...
