More broken bikes ;)
Have had a good explore around town the past couple of nights & there seems to be no broken bicycles around at all at the moment :( Fortunatly i have a bit of a backlog at the moment & hope there will be some more by the time i am up to date :)
As with a lot of these, this was shot on my way home from work when i carry only minimal kit.. as a result i couldn't get the straks of light from passing traffic that i wanted so to get the effect i stacked 6 shots using a startrail programme! I never thought of soing this before, but it seems to be quite effective in giving the apperance of a nice long exposure using a nice big apature without having to lug around ND filters & a proper tripod! One to remember i think :)
A parade announcing an extra stage show on the piazza outside the Phuket FantaSea theatre in Phuket, Thailand. I was walking around the piazza, generally taking photographs and taking in the views, when he sound of cymbals and drums made me look up, only to notice this little parade. This is apparently for a stage show (as I discovered later) to be held on the Viva Bangkok stage set in the piazza. Of course, this is only a little dance performance on the sidelines, outside the main theatre. The main show, called Fantasy of a Kingdom, is a stupendous display of colour, glitz, costumes and music, with elaborate stage settings and the use of pyrotechnics (yes, inside) and with several animals- at one stage even as many as six elephants on stage. Sadly, photography inside the venue is strictly prohibited, and you are even made to check in your cellphone outside the theatre before you enter the auditorium. But I digress- pictures, and a brief video of this stage show appear later in this album. (see subsequent pictures).
