We had 8 glorious, fluffy as a could, inches of powder last night that made me want to rent a 4x4, grab my board and head for the hills. Instead I donned by wellies and went to work :( but I am looking into options for day trips on the weekends before it all melts.

Kasatka and Ulises

The idea was a headshot which showed her character (energetic, very funny), but was serious enough the same time. We went with something very straight and classic for the look and worked our way towards a fitting image. We ended up with six best picks and a lot of fun.

Strobist Info: One flash with a "paper hat" as a diffusor at a 1/16 close to the wall at the back, for the slight halo. The wall was about 2,5m behind. One flash at a 1/16 through a shoot through umbrella from top left, about an arms length away. A white panel on the right helped to lighten up the shadows.
