Typical Dutch, cloudy skies, rainy days !
Changing all the time from bright to dark,
from dark to sunshine.
Just like our moods from day to day.

Like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending or beginning
On an ever-spinning reel
As the images unwind
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind."

Windmills at Kinderdijk The Netherlands
From my archives, taken in March 10 years ago.
Kinderdijk is a village in the Netherlands, belonging to the municipality of Molenwaard, in the province South Holland, about 15 km east of Rotterdam. Kinderdijk is situated in a polder in the Alblasserwaard at the confluence of the Lek and Noord rivers. To drain the polder, a system of 19 windmills was built around 1740. This group of mills is the largest concentration of old windmills in the Netherlands. The windmills of Kinderdijk are one of the best-known Dutch tourist sites. They have been an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. ( Information Wikipedia )

I thought this was a unique situation first the shadows caught my eyes but then I noticed that there was a barbed wire t post fence running side by side with the wooden pole fence.
Taken during a beautiful sunset on the Westerschelde.

Guttatie druppels
A natural phenomenon!
These droplets form when the humidity is high. The leaves or blades of grass cannot evaporate the water and the root pressure increases because the absorption of moisture continues. Natural evaporation is disrupted.
In order to have a balance in root uptake and evaporation, the plant, herb or blade of grass, will excrete excess moisture through openings other than the stomata at the bottom of leaves or blades of grass. With grasses at the top of the top and with plants and herbs on the side edge of the leaf.
Thanks Dieter for your attention.

but their echoes are truly endless.” —Mother Teresa.
Thank you all for the kind words and well wishes.
I'm slowly back, trying to find my way back here on Flickr.
I am healing, with sometimes 2 steps forward but 1 step back.
I have to try to dose, which is sometimes difficult because I want so badly to participate in normal life again.
But I will have to be patient.
And again, thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Flipped the photo and put them side by side. Can you see all the people it created. Almost like an Aztec Indian chief and his family.

This is my first time doing a collage type photo. It was fun, but kind of hard to get the crops the way I liked them. But i am happy with the way it turned out. Hope you guys like it. I want to do more of these in the future.
Have a good Friday!

This is a shot from our trip to Moab. We took a guided tour out to the hills east of town, a region known as Hell's Revenge. Mark trails climb over the rough terrain and scale sandstone hills and mounds. In the distance a group of side-by-side ATVs can be seen cresting one of the hills. In the distance are the rock formations of Arches National Park.

Earlier this year we took the SideBySide to Quartzsite Arizona for a little off roading. This is one of the trails we rode when we visited Quartzsite Arizona in February. Nothing real challenging but the weather was amazing! Blue sky, warm temperature.

From left- Thirlmere's 4-6-0 3642, Canberra Rail Museum's 4-6-0 3016 and Beyer Garratt DC6029, and LVR 2-8-2 5917 commence their historic "race" to Maitland. An Australian, and maybe world first event, where four historic steam locomotives run parallel for just over 30 minutes from Hanbury Junction to Maitland, as part of the 30th anniversary Maitland Steamfest.
A stirring sight for the thousands of people, enthusiasts and curious alike that lined the tracks.
