Tulips from The Netherlands for you my dear friends!
"When uncut in fields of plenty
Dancing to the winds own beat
Watch them swaying in the breeze
You'll think this sight is such a treat......"

I thought this was a unique situation first the shadows caught my eyes but then I noticed that there was a barbed wire t post fence running side by side with the wooden pole fence.
“Kind words can be short and easy to speak,
but their echoes are truly endless.” —Mother Teresa.
Thank you all for the kind words and well wishes.
I'm slowly back, trying to find my way back here on Flickr.
I am healing, with sometimes 2 steps forward but 1 step back.
I have to try to dose, which is sometimes difficult because I want so badly to participate in normal life again.
But I will have to be patient.
And again, thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Addy with, of course my four legged partner ;-) in life:

Flipped the photo and put them side by side. Can you see all the people it created. Almost like an Aztec Indian chief and his family.
Thanks Lenabem-anna for the use of your beautiful texture!
Enjoy your weekend my dear friends!
sorry for the delay to visit you my friends. I am so very busy lately; so please forgive me!
I am sending you love and friendship

This is a shot from our trip to Moab. We took a guided tour out to the hills east of town, a region known as Hell's Revenge. Mark trails climb over the rough terrain and scale sandstone hills and mounds. In the distance a group of side-by-side ATVs can be seen cresting one of the hills. In the distance are the rock formations of Arches National Park.

pseudopod-in-pseudopod, two-of-a-kind were trundling along together more than half a billion years ago collected from a small quarry north of Kingston Ontario.
trace fossil track display of soft body, sluglike critters called Climatichnites hailing from ~515 million years ago in the Cambrian; they were among the first known animals to come ashore on a global scale
big animals, too! my spread hand would fit in each trackway with room to spare; fossils of the actual creatures have yet to be found
doubling down with more onshore from the same era_

He was a fighter but has lost his battle....
I miss him so much but he will always remain in my heart. Beautiful memories left. Goodbye my sweetie.

Unfortunately I do not have the original Blacksuit that was given to me by Kevin B.'s mother in the mid 70s. He was probably the exact middle in height between these two. I lost him sometime in the late 80s. He was solid plastic of a more rugged variety. He was somewhere in detail between the two presented here. The smaller one here is my second version which I found online. It has less detail than the original and is thinner on a less durable plastic. Also, the color application is minimal compared to the original. The larger one here is taller and larger proportionally than the original, though it is hollow and has more intricate detail than the original. One day I still hope to find one like my original.
My original and the smaller one here were both cupcake toppers. In both cases I removed the spike at the bottom and tried to file down the base. The third one (the large one here) had no spike and simply has hollow feet. I imagine it was likely used to stand on a larger cake, as it's size seems to lean that way.
There is no end to my love for Blacksuit.
