For some strange reason, completely unknown to me, my girls all wanted cameras. They spend a lot of time taking pictures...of stuffed animals. Can't imagine where they get these ideas..... This is Dictator Three.

Shutterbugs assignment.
I hunch my shoulders a lot. I'm just not used to holding the camera to my eye, I suppose. The viewfinder is worth basically nothing on this camera; it's just a little screen that's like the screen on the back but it's harder to see and has a lower resolution.
Can you call a tinted black & white photo a black & white photo? There's no white and very little black here.

My teenager (the genius behind the Alyns) and I drove out to Red Rock to watch the sunrise this morning. The scenic drive did not open at 6 AM as we expected, so we had to choose an alternate vantage point to watch the sun rise on the new year. It was still a beautiful morning, because I got to share it with my daughter.
