I love birds, but this particular one is my least favorite. I'm sure I've never seen it before; those hair-raising red eyes are hard to forget!

The Shining Starling/ Metallic Starling/ Aplonis metallica/ is native to the Moluccas, New Guinea, Queensland and the Solomon Islands.
