Snowdrops by a local stream

Last year I found much enjoyment in photographing the fragile snowdrops in this large meadow.

This pretty little guy has all 3 of my feeders to himself right now. Every now and then a lone stranger will pass through for a sip but hummer activity has wound down. Hopefully I'll still have a couple who stay through the winter. I usually do which is why I keep feeders up all year.

I love so much this flowers.

Yesterday I could not resist to take a photo of the tulips on my window... :)

Amo infinitamente i tulipani.

Erano e sono sul davanzale.

Ieri mi hanno fatto l'occhiolino e allora... *clic* ;)

My first acquaintance with Steven King. I love this book "The Shining" and also the movie with Jack Nicholson, a great actor!

If you never have read it or saw the movie and you like horror stories, it is a must to read and see ;-))

I like his style of writing, it is always plausible how the story line grows, but at some point there is that creepy feeling that you know it can't be.

For the Macro Mondays Theme: My Favourite Novel (Fiction).

Happy Macro Monday everyone!!!!

Long exposure of the King's creek, leading to the King's fall, which unfortunately I was not able to see because the lookout got damaged in the fire last year and it has not been repaired yet. Got there a bit late, so the sun was not shining on the creek anymore.

Shot with the OM1 handheld, using the electronic ND filter. The image stabilization is amazing, the background is super crisp, the foreground is a bit fuzzy because it was too close to me. I am super happy not having to carry a tripod.

In every winter’s heart there is a quivering spring, and behind the veil of each night there is a shining dawn.
