This beautiful snow-white beach is made up of millions of tiny shells up to 10 metres deep and stretching for over 70 kilometres. There is no sand, only shells!.

I'm reasonably certain these are morning glory vines. Whatever they are, they're EATING that car and the house to the left. We saw this in Shell Beach, CA and were just stunned by how the vines had engulfed the whole house, tree, car, and fence. It was almost post-apocalyptic. But, ya know, pretty.
I took a little road trip to Shell Beach which is appx 25 miles
south east of New Orleans proper. A hard hit fishing community.
There is a Hurricane Katrina memorial at the end of Yscloskey Hwy....
both on shore and in the water. It's also an area where fishermen take
their boats out to the giant Lake Borgne, it is along the Mississippi River
-Gulf Outlet (MRGO) which is an inlet the leads to the Gulf Of Mexico.
