Lacquer and acrylic don't get along very well. The shellac will form a barrier between them.
They were quite a tight combo, and loud!

My shellacking station, i couldn't find anyplace that wasn't dusty in my house, so I just stuck it in this upside down storage crate. works great incidentally.
