Shell Mex House is situated at number 80, Strand, London, UK. The current building was built in 1930-31 on the site of the Hotel Cecil and stands behind the original facade of the Hotel and between the Adelphi and the Savoy Hotel. Broadly Art Deco in style, it was designed by the architectural firm of Messrs Joseph, with F. Milton Cashmore responsible for most of the work.
It possesses London's largest clock face, 7.62 metres in diameter. The clock tower element is crucial for the building height which allowed it to circumvent the height limits of the time that existed for fire safety reasons by defining it as an uninhabited part of the building.

About 5 years ago, it was cleaned up to its current appearance, looking more like how it originally appeared when it operated as a Shell Station. Located at Vermont and Venice Blvd. in Los Angeles California.
Sydney Opera House was formally opened on 20th October 1973 and will soon be having its 50th anniversary.
Designed by architect Jørn Utzon, the Sydney Opera House stands as an excellent example of expressionist architecture. Construction utilised 10,000 workers, with a final cost of AUS $104 million and took fourteen years to build. The shells are covered in over a million ceramic tiles that were manufactured in Sweden.

Photos taken on January 10, 2009 of a former Shell Station at the corner of Venice and Vermont in Los Angeles. It has gone through a series of owners since it was a Shell Station many years ago.
The Shell Collection, which is specially designed for FueraDentro by the dutch designer Jan des Bouvrie, consists of two chairs, a bank sofa, four tables and a sunbed. The fibers of the chairs, sofa and sunbed are made of Batyline and the frames are made of stainless steel. This combination of materials makes the SHELL collection ideal for outdoor use.
The most notable characteristics of the SHELL collection is the rounded shape of the shelllike bucket seat, which brings a stunning sense of shelter. The seatings are carried out in a coaxial structured Batyline® fibre. The frames are made of electro-polished stainless steel and the tabletops are glass.

The car that they blew up was actually a '67 Chevrolet Camaro and in the movie Cisco is supposed to be in California.
I always loved creating little boats with walnuts being a kid.
