We have a lot of sheet music at home. Some are from my childhood and some has been gifted to my youngest son who is rather musical. This particular piece of music is from a Mozart opera. I didn’t know we had it until I looked through the stack that was gifted to Ethan. It looks fun to play although I doubt I can get up to speed.

Description: Construction of 5 Foot Vertical Wind Tunnel. The 5 Foot Vertical Wind Tunnel was built to study spinning characteristics of aircraft. It was an open throat tunnel capable of a maximum speed of 80 mph. NACA engineer Charles H. Zimmerman designed the tunnel starting in 1928. Construction was completed in December 1929. It was one of two tunnels which replaced the original Atmospheric Wind Tunnel (The other was the 7x10-Foot Wind Tunnel). In NACA TR 387 (p. 499), Carl Wenzinger and Thomas Harris report that "the tunnel passages are constructed of 1/8-inch sheet iron, stiffened with angle iron and bolted together at the corners. The over-all dimensions are: Height 31 feet 2 inches; length, 20 feet 3 inches; width, 10 feet 3 inches.

Made these for ME for a change! :) Wanting to fix up our bedroom and make it super pretty. I'm appliqueing these onto pretty new blue pillowcases I bought on sale at Target and I pulled out a couple of my favorite vintage pillowcases to use on our bed, too. I also saved some of my favorite vintage sheets to use as curtains :) I'm going to work on that tonight!

Just when i thought the kids were upstairs in bed, i heard some playfull laughter. I went upstairs to investigate and found all 3 of them under the covers of our bed playing with a torch. Couldn't resist but take a picture.

Anyone with kids will realise how tough it is to get 1 of them to sit still, but i think Cerys did an admirable job considering the other 2 on each side were bouncing around :)

If you use one of these, I would be grateful for a mention.

The blurred bronze sundial in the foreground matched the color of the dress nicely.
