Make a "sharp" photo today any way you interpret it, either tack-sharp focus or a subject that is sharp itself.
All of us are like Cactus in some ways ... when we are new at some things .. we are very sharp fresh and colorful ... and when we grow old at it ... though the sharpness is there ... we get a dull layer on us ... and the color goes off ... few of us try to get the colors back but some dont ...

Well after trying for at least 3 weeks to even see this rare Asian breed (here in Vancouver, BC) ...I finally was able to view and take many shots. Unfortunately the sun wasn't my best friend here...(back lighting the subject)...but I'm not going to complain. At least I have a record of the sighting now.
The shots were also taken at quite a distance so I had to crop quite a bit into the shots to see the subject...again not a problem...and due to the back lighting I had to do a 1 stop over exposure to get some detail and not a dark blob.
