I'm not much into drawing in sketch books and I rarely doodle but tonight it seemed like the thing to do.

I was asked recently to submit some postal sticker art. So I decided to vary the subject matter to keep it interesting.

New drawings for my etsy store. The author's portraits are drawn on pages from their books.

My etsy store has been a little empty lately. So I created new illustrations for some lunch bags. I'll be offering personalized and non-personalized bags in different quantities and designs.

Yesterday Noitan, Itzy, Bonus Saves and myself got together for an impromptu art hook-up. Lo and behold 10 hours later we emerged with some crazy lookin' pieces.

A few of these have become paintings.

Last night I was in the mood to draw some wings, some skulls, brain matter, an old boat and a squid. As a result I decided to combine all those things into one really busy illustration.

New line drawing soon to be added to my etsy store.

Saturday doodle cut out!

Guerrilla art headed for Finland, Sweden, France and Boston.

There's a unique story behind this piece of art. This happens to be one of my first free art pieces (from back in '05). I left it behind a factory in Vicksburg, MI. Well I received an email from the individual who found it. We exchanged emails a few times and I even hand delivered a few addt'l art pieces, leaving them with the secretary in the front office. So that seemed to be the end of it

well, not quite...

For the past few years I've been trying to locate a friend of mine I used to hang out with in the early nineties. I hadn't had much luck, until a couple months ago I found his former wife's Facebook page. She passed my email address onto him.

Finally he and I were able to meet up yesterday. During the course of our conversation, I was discussing my free art projects, at which time he mentioned finding a piece of art behind the factory where he works. At that point we began putting two and two together and realized we had communicated nearly 4 years ago!!!

Synchronicity!!!

Another lunch bag character.

Here's my submission to the "it's Yours, Take It" Free Art event soon to be taking place in Chicago.

(Acrylic, paint pens, Sharpies on cardboard)

A couple days ago, noitaN challenged me to draw an octopus and rat combination. The plan was, we were both going to draw the octopus-rat and post our results last night. I didn't have time to complete mine so he gave me an extra day. Anyway, I started out doing a rat-octopus combo but got carried away doing a skeleton and wings.

Be sure to check out noitaN's rat-octopus combo:
