A male sharp shinned hawk visited our woods 2 days in a row last week. I managed 2 quick shots from this perch before he dove into a nearby spruce & out again.

Taken out of the camera, minor tweeks to contrast. No sharpening. Is it almost too sharp?

*Disclaimer: since people will likely wonder how I obtained this hawk, it died by hitting a window on my aunt's house. It was chasing a robin at the time and both birds hit and died. Fish & Game instructed us to bury the animal, as it is illegal to possess all manner of deceased birds in Alaska. Before I buried the hawk, though, I took these scans of it - I didn't want its beauty to go to waste.
more sharpness from the lomo. this was shot on some expired 'centuria super 400' that i picked up in January from India for 70Rs i think.
looks like the film must have snapped in the dev machine in tesco judging by one of the shots (that looked like some torn negative) and the lack of scans from the final 6-10 shots on the roll!
This Sharp-shinned Hawk bolted from our backyard brush pile when I came out to fill the feeders. Fortunately, it landed on a fence on the other side of the neighbor's yard so I could get these photos. Leavenworth, Kansas, USA, December 15, 2025.
