Had my bloods done this morning in preparation for tomorrow's kimo. Why do nurses always say 'ready for a sharp scratch?' It's not a sharp scratch, it's a bloody needle that goes into your arm and hurts!

Sharp Rock Vineyards in Sperryville, VA - played a beautiful wedding with Just Wanna Play yesterday, perfect day in the mountains...

Yesterday I went to the park to see if I could capture a few 'early signs of spring'. This Robin wasn't to shy and posed for me at a few different spots. I processed this one because the wind took some of the feathers on the birds head and turned it into a crest.. Making this a crested robin for a short moment 😊.

Since I'm still in the proces of testing me new G9II with the 100-400, I think this is one of the examples showing the sharpness of the 'Panaleica' being able to deliver enough detail for the new 25mp sensor to shine. This picture specifically showing that ISO2500 combined with the newer 'noise-removal' methods are very well usable.

A friend ask me to come out looking for Hawks and he took me to a place that had a family of Sharp Shinned Hawks. This is Dad preparing the meal for the little hawks.

I thought this was a Coopers Hawk. After studying more of it, I think it is a Sharp-shinned. I took this from about 70 feet away as it is a heavy crop.

Gallistel Woods, University of Wisconsin Arboretum, Madison, Wisconsin. From my first spring wildflower outing of 2016.

Next up on my journey home to Hampshire (07/02/2025) was a look in at Sharpes of Langar. Their coach fleet is made up of absolutely immaculate Van Hool coaches and has got to be one of the best presented in the UK. Simple as that!

Thanks go to the Sharpes staff for showing me around.

Little Hiddles finally has a body! It took a bit of doing, getting the bits to fit together right, and then getting the clothes to lay right, but he looks quite the dapper tiny plastic gentleman, wouldn't you say?

I was iffy about that head with its somber expression and lack of facial hair, but seeing him put together, well, I love him to bits.

A random spot, while walking about town! Good thing I lifted my camera...

This photo was taken outside the Portland Leisure Centre, so I can only assume this was on some swimming contract for a school... The driver must have a good book or a film on his phone to keep him from boredom because I can remember the swimming lessons I had at school taking a whole afternoon!

New to Dublin Bus as their AV130, registered as 00-D-70130. Unusually, for a Dublin ALX400, this bus was specified with bonded glazing, a standard driver's windscreen and centre exit door, the latter of which was removed when Sharpes aquired this bus in 2015 via Mc Gonagle's of Buncrana.
