Yippee....another giant statue off the list! I was getting a little nervous that we were going to roll into Ashern after sunset, but Jack, our bus driver got me there in time! This was our last stop before hitting Winnipeg. What a great weekend adventure!
February 22, 2015 - Day 53
Just opposite of the Lodge, and across the lake sits the other Peak of Otter, Sharp Top, which got it's name because of the rockiness and shape of its summit compared to Round Top.
You can hike all the way up, or take the bus (seasonal) most of the way up for a short jaunt at the end to enjoy the 360° view.
The 90mm Elmar-C and Leica CL make a good combination for shake-free shots like this.
I enjoy roaming covent garden, there is always something going on... oh and for the shopping. :)

More from my foggy morning at Leesylvania Park :)
I loved the details and textures in this sign next to the curving road and felt that this was the best way to incorporate it into the overall theme of the image.
I originally shot two versions of this image. This one and another one at f/4 to really take the distant road out of the foreground, but upon looking at both of them, I felt that you really needed some more sharpness front to back - so here you go.
If anyone is curious about the alternate version of this exposure, let me know and I will post it up as well.
As always, your thoughts and comments are appreciated :)
Thanks for viewing!
A second, much smaller, additional board that sits on the right below the keyboard. Not a clue what it’s for.

In the spring, sharp-tailed grouse form mating grounds, or leks, where they congregate to compete for territories and perform mating displays for visiting females. This crowded scene leads to fighting among the males as they attempt to outcompete one another and win the affections of the onlooking females.
