At least that's what is claimed in the Netherlands. I don't know if it's true, but what I do know is that I wish all my friends here a very happy and merry Christmas. Stay safe!

This is another shot of Shard from the North Bank of Thames. The lights on the bridge were a monotone orange colour and along with its uninspiring concrete arches. The Illuminated River turned this dull-looking bridge into a vibrant wall of colour and not to be outdone, the lights on the Shard help it stand out at night. From the under of the bridge, you get the view of Shard in this perfect triangle frame which is composited with staircase, river and the bridge.

The Shard, also referred to as the Shard of Glass, Shard London Bridge and formerly London Bridge Tower, is a 95-storey supertall skyscraper, designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano. Shot on a Sony A7 with a 67mm Formatt Hitech Firecrest Polariser.
These pottery shards were found in Cologne and date from the period 27 before to 14 AD.
It was fine drinkware.

This was taken underneath the much-photographed staircase at the north end of London Bridge, looking back south towards the Shard. I just had to sit and wait for someone photogenic to use the stairs. This couple were the perfect subjects with the guys hat adding the finishing touch. Canon EOS 6D & Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 Art
