Hang out long enough and you start to become each other…just ask these galaxies.
In Webb’s latest image (shown at right here), two galaxies in the process of merging are twisting each other out of shape. Bright tendrils of star-forming regions connect their two glowing cores. These star-forming regions are particularly bright in infrared light, the wavelengths that Webb specializes in.

ATTENTION: The demonstration does not contain the shape of the body, it is only the head.
I recently acquired a +3 magnifying filter that threads onto my Nikkor 18-200mm lens and allows me to truly "fill the frame" when I use both of these tools together.
It is a bit tricky to work with since the combo produces a very shallow depth of field, but I'm pleased that a $25.00 filter can be so helpful for those of us who enjoy seeing the nature world up close......
This image was taken back in the summer of last year during a morning explore of Cley Hill.
The image depicts a high viewpoint that captures the shapes within the landscape.
After ascending to the top of the hill, I decided to explore further down and arrived near a spot that I had photographed before. Instead of capturing the landscape in front and beyond I decided to focus on the scene below. It was during this time that I decided to set the came to photograph using the 5x4 format. Something that I was tempted many times to try at uni but in the end it never happen.

This is for the HA shapes challenge. If I had a better circular stamp, I'd have used it. The sentiment isn't quite right, but I've made do.
