Shape: One of the design principles. I thought the gold circle of my wedding band would demonstrate shape. The background of the white rice represents the rice that we once threw at weddings to symbolize fertility and prosperity.

Shape is an area enclosed by a line. It visually describes an object. It is two-dimensional with height and width. Shapes can be geometric with straight edges and angels, such as squares, rectangles, or triangles or circles; or they can be organic with irregular and curvilinear lines. Organic shapes are found in nature-seashells, flower petals, insects, animals, people!
Form looks like a three-dimensional shape. The object looks as if it has height, width and depth. Artists use shading to create the illusion of form. The shading indicates depth by creating shadows.

I took this picture on November 27th, by the water fountain outside of Mr.Pankau's Classroom.
I think this photo , Deserves a B . I think this because , it has a defined focus on a specific shape , which happens to be a square . Even though its , a good picture It has a few flaws . the lighting was off so when i put a edit on it the left side lines were much more defined then the right side lines . The lines fade out and the shapes aren't Clear . Also , down the middle their a skinny column of rectangles that aren't like the rest of the shapes I'm trying to show. My photograph clearly , presents abstract shape . There is not a distracting back round , and the focus is ONLY on the shape itself. CBPA : this picture displays symmetrical balance, because if you drew a line right down the middle of the image, it would be a mirror image on either side .

My humble entry for the shape challenge. I tried to make the cream of the cupcake kind of come out, but haven't done anything to change the colour, so it's very natural. Added ribbon, a flower and sentiment and a cherry on top ;)

1. This image investigates the element of shapes it can be seen by the shapes of the different fruits and vegetables.
2. The subject of the image is all the things in the bowl, and I approached it by taking the picture from above.
3. I believe the different shades and color of everything combined is the most successful part of the image.
4. If I could re-shoot the picture I would have pointed the camera more on an angle, rather than straight from the top.
