125/365 I had so much fun making this one. The idea hit me about three hours after I took the first few photos and I realized I wanted to use my hands to replace the original shadow. The patch of sun had moved drastically but I was able to merge it in anyways.

Ancient oak woodland, Hertfordshire
The furrowed bark of an English oak provides the canvas for an intricate and gentle dance of shadows cast by its own branches and leaves in the warm breeze of a sunny summer afternoon.

After my image from this morning was booted from the Macro Monday pool I was bummed but was given the opportunity to meet the challenge. My daughters heart sunglasses were sitting where the sun was streaming in this afternoon and ta-da - a shadow image. Hope this fits the bill :), it's not too eerie or spooky but all shadow.

I always have very happy associations with railway stations but they can be scenes of sadness; saying good bye to a loved one, waiting for someone who doesn't show, making a journey alone.
This is a shot I've had in mind for sometime but normally with the Mk4 sets the loco ends up under the bridge. This evening I was lucky and the set was short formed by one coach.
We just got back from camping!!! No, this is not a picture from the trip, it's an older one from last week sometime that I never had any time to post. Why don't have any camping photos to share? Well, my CF card is corrupted & I can't seem to to transfer them to the computer like usual.
So... **Does anybody know how to recover files from a corrupted CF card?* ~ If you have any suggestions, I'll gladly try them. I would love to share the camping pictures! ~ They're recovered! I'll upload some very soon! ^-^ I'm so excited!
Until then, I suppose I'll catch up on these older photos I never got around to posting. ;] Hope everyone's doing well lately. :D
