I have not happened upon any really interesting shadows lately, but the other day I realized that the afternoon sun behind the trees at the back edge of my yard made a nice image.

There's a splash of sun out there - would love to be out in it, but work is calling...

Oh to be young and fierce.

I saw this delicious shadowplay on a table in our employee dining room today. I couldn’t resist.

An evening of aimless faffing about with flashguns and a textured wall in my front room.

Just along the road from our house, a giant elm tree - I love how, in early spring, the sun hangs low in the sky and casts long shadows along our street.

Another photo I took of Shadowplay, same house but in this photo the photo shows the whole house and not just the porch and shows more shadows in this shot too

This time I really have forgotten, what lense I´ve used here. Maybe you have an idea about. I think it was maybe the Walimex Pro / Samyang 135/2. But I´m not sure :) Time for lens tagging ^^

This is from an old house down town. My sister re-did the interiors of it for a uni assignment, and I took a few photos of it for her yesterday :) Snuck in a couple other shots as well. Hehe..

"Shadowplay:" If you remember my last image I posted last week, called, "Chasing Shadows," there was an ulterior reason why I used that title, besides the obvious, in that, yes, there were clouds casting a shadow on the East Mitten at Monument Valley. The truth is, I was the one actually chasing the shadows: my intent was to capture the shadow of the West Mitten onto the East, which only aligns with the sun in such a way to create this event bi-annually. Well, the first two nights of my attempts to capture this, were thwarted, including a full-on snow storm the first attempt, and a very last-minute usurping of the sun by a wall of storm clouds on my second attempt. The second evening, as the snowstorm had seemed to move on past, I watched with growing anticipation as the shadow began to creep up the opposing monolith, in reverse mirror image fashion, only to fade away before rising into proper position, with yet another large storm system blowing through on the western horizon. Luckily, I had a little flexibility in my schedule that allowed me to stay just one more night to try for a re-take. Three time's a charm! While the alignment may not have been as optimal as the previous night's, at least I was able to come away with a couple images that hopefully you can enjoy.

meet looking for you

To the depths of the ocean

where all hopes sank searching for you

Moving through the silence without motion

waiting for you

I found truth
