yesterday may 5th was the day the moon was closest to the earth for this year, called the supermoon, making the moon appear 14% larger. the moon did not look at all different to me, but i wanted to take a picture of this "supermoon" nonetheless. this is the site i normally see when i draw the curtains and retreat to bed every night.
my camera's battery has been dead for the past couple of days and i have no idea where the charger is, so this photo was taken w/ my iphone.
i normally shoot using my macro lens for product photos and almost never take night photos, so this perspective is definitely out of the norm for me.
