African daisies spread their color through a verdant meadow, while the Acacia trees are happy to put on a show of their own. This is spring time at Bay Front Park along the SF Bay. This 160 acre park actually sits on an old dump site. Yep, all that color is thriving on a landfill of discarded trash. It just goes to show that Ma Nature does not discriminate when it comes to spreading her beauty. I think it's pretty cool that the municipal powers-that-be decided to repurpose the old landfill site into an "open space" area that the masses can enjoy. Check it out if you're ever in the area.
Happy Fence Friday everyone.

Practically the same view as the image I posted yesterday, except I snapped this the next morning as the sun was rising. From a warm hazy Sunday full of pleasure craft, to a cool metallic Monday morning featuring the working boats. The smaller boat on the far right is ferrying the workers to their jobs in City. What a difference 14 hours makes.
