I spent some time exploring the Hyatt this evening. Why? Because it's there, I suppose. They were in the process of stringing up some Christmas lights inside, so I wandered through to take a look at those before eventually finding my way to the 12th floor to check out the view of the plaza and OccupySF camp under the full moon.

This would have been way easier if I had a real tripod with me. As it was, I had to dangle my camera over the railing on my little gorillapod, hoping it would stay steady/not fall 12 stories to the pavement. Success!

A little random chaos: Cars vs. very large puddles, bubbling manhole covers, and water backing up through drain pipes at a nearby cafe (which subsequently closed to do clean-up).
