This set of 7 wooden blocks are part of a set that I bought at a yard sale and decoupaged with vintage sewing patterns. Set no. 3 includes the seven blocks pictured, 2 square (2" x 2" x 1"), 2 long rectangles (8" x 2" x 1"), 2 short squares (1"x 1" x 2"), and 1 long square (1" x 1" x 4")

McCall was founded in 1870. "McCall" didn't become "McCall's" until 1951. So if you find anything with "McCall" on it, you know it pre-dates 1951. You can still buy McCall's patterns today.
