Simplicity 1016; ©1944; Unprinted Pattern. Misses' and Women's Dress: The waist is gathered at the lower edge in front and back. The skirt front is gathered and the back is seamed down the center. The high neckline is styled with a front opening. Style I has short cap sleeves and is finished with a bow tie at the neck. In Style II, the two vertical pockets, neck and sleeve edges are smartly bound. Style III features a three-quarter sleeve.

This envelope contains pattern pieces and instructions for inside pillow covers to be used over foam or urethane forms. If preferred the covers may be stuffed with shredded foam. The bolster is stuffed with cotton batting or wadding. Instructions are also given for cutting, sewing and smocking the cafe curtains and outside pillow covers, made of 35" gingham with 1" wide checks.

The body suit has set in sleeves, elastic leg casings and snap fastened crotch. Collarless V1 with back zipper has low round neckline, short sleeves, front tab with button trim and top stitching. V2 has front zipper, high round neckline, collar and sleeves. The flared mini front wrap skirt has waistband and fastens with self fabric tie ends.
