Bag I made using the Blossom Bag sewing pattern. I used Echino Perch in blue fabric for the exterior and a seafoam green corduroy for the interior.

I reviewed this sewing pattern on my blog!

My slowly growing (and selectively chosen) dolly magazine and pattern book collection.

There are a ton of Dolly Dollys at my local book store, but I've chosen only these three (was thrilled that they had the rushton cover one last time I went! nabbed the last one they had), and the DCRs from there.

I researched to make sure I wanted what was inside first because these are not very cheap (well, the pattern books are a good deal, but the mags are a little pricey for what they are, so I'm picky about them).

Obtained "Dolly Dress Book 手づくりの小さなお洋服" soon after this photo was taken, lol. I'm going to wait and see if I can nab some more goodies in Japan before updating a collection pic.

I love the patterns and designs on washi tape and thought it would be fun to create my own faux washi tape. I choose sewing patten paper because I have lots of it, really like the designs on the paper, and it is very thin and won't make the masking tape too thick.

To make the basic DIY washi tape, all you need is:

- masking tape

- wax paper

- mod podge

- thin paper (sewing pattern/crepe streamers/tissue paper/etc)

- paint brush

- scissors

Kwik Sew 1004 - vintage Womens sewing pattern

Size: small medium large extra-large

Bust: 34 - 35 1/2 - 37 - 38 1/2 - 40 - 41 1/2 - 43 - 45"

* Just my personal opinion! But I originally bought this pattern because I loved the bust design. I was going to make sexy nightgowns to sell from it. I thought the way the bust is designed it would be so pretty out of a contrasting lace (black and red perhaps) or a solid color bust lace and a sexy print at the bottom. Shorten the length and make a pair of sexy little panties to go with it.

Advance 6689; ca. early 1950s; Misses' Halter Tops: (View 1) Halter type waistcoat - Low cut back. (View 2 and View 4) Can be made in lace over fabric in self or contrasting color for evening wear - For daytime sports see other Suggested Fabrics. (View 2) High neck, bare shoulders, low back. (View 4) Surplice front, smooth fitting front peplum, halter ties, low back. (View 3) Bare midriff with low scooped neckline. (View 1) Finished with facings. (Views 2, 3 and 4) All lined to edge.
