Renowned Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone’s colorful large-scale, public artwork Seven Magic Mountains is an exhibition located in the desert outside of Las Vegas, Nevada, featuring seven, 30 to 35-feet high dayglow totems comprised of painted, locally-sourced boulders.
Seven Sisters Round Barrow - Copt Hill - Houghton-le-Spring - Sunderland - Uk... Although there is only six trees remaining, the cairn is a Neolithic and Late Bronze Age burial mound.

Back at the Woodland Cemetery, or Skogskyrkogården. This is the 888-meter-long Seven Wells Way. Sju brunnars stig. It starts on the top of the Meditation Hill, Almhöjden, behind the group of people that you can see in the distance. It ends just behind me at one of the big chapels at the cemetery. As they walk towards the chapel, it gets darker and darker around them because of the different trees planted along the path. All thanks to the two architects that designed this World Heritage Site a century ago

Hey gang. Hope you had a great Christmas day. Boxing day marks the start of a great migration here in Australia. Thousands of majestic station wagons make the long journey from urban centres to rural ones with occasional stops for a KFC and a wee. On arrival at the teeming holiday-grounds, their first port of call is usually the small local IGA shop where they will comment on how expensive the bread is. Having put up a tent or pitched a caravan or booked into a hotel, the older members of the party will then usually crack open a bottle of something alcoholic and the younger ones will complain about how poor the 4G internet is. Traditionally there will be a small (but heated) row and then everyone will go for a walk on the beach, which has healing and restorative effects. Over the course of the holiday, the mood will slowly become increasingly relaxed and remain so until the return leg, which is fraught with its own unique dangers, such as a malfunctioning air conditioning unit in the car and 10km traffic jams. Personally I will not be migrating anywhere during the summer holidays, but will be enjoying sunrises like this one a couple of mornings ago, on Seven Mile Beach. If you're heading this way, look for a fat bloke in Crocs with a camera and smelling heavily of Aerogard and you've probably found me :)

Copt Hill is an ancient burial ground near Houghton-le-Spring. Archaeological research suggests that it dates from the Mesolithic period, at least 6,000 years and possibly up to 10,000 years ago. The site is marked by six trees. Presumably there used to be a seventh tree, as they are known as the Seven Sisters.

The 'Seven Sisters' are rarely seen in clear weather as in this photo ... typically they are shrouded in rain clouds but they are always beautiful regardless of the weather. This set of peaks are in my 'home region' in British Columbia's coastal range. In a "you couldn't make this stuff up" kind of way ... there is a set of equally spectacular peaks that can be seen from my Mother's birthplace in Norway that are also named the 'Seven Sisters' ... 'Syv Søstre.'
I must go photograph them one day!

Lighting: This was a simple shot to illustrate what fits into a Crumpler Seven Million Dollar Home. The Camera (Canon 20D) was on a tripod with a Canon 430EX flash hand-held up above and off-axis using the Canon Off-Shoe Cord.

This is a shot I am trying to master. I really want a moody brooding shot. Obviously this isn't it. The sky was not playing ball. But one has to keep trying.
Well, I had seven more pictures of Aphelion that I wanted to upload, and as it happens, Seven is the title of another Fever Ray song (like Triangle Walks, a title I used for another photo of Aphelion), and this girl loves her some Fever Ray. So, that is that!
