Sadly, my camera recycled past 0000 during this tournament, so while this image has the lowest number, it is not the first picture taken. By this time, the Quickset parents requested i shoot some thru the net spikes, blocks and huddle shots, so i was concentrating on that during these pics.

These craft are classed as medium berthing tugs and were found in the dockyards and ports around the UK where naval vessels operate. In addition, two (Airedale and Seallham) were based at Gibraltar. The craft have a bollard pull of 16 tons, which means that two are usually used for FFHs and above.

jackson just having fun outside. he loves my new camera :)

please zoom in on his mouth, i promise it is worth it!

and yes, we need to rake our leaves, but leaf collection in the city hasnt happened yet, so we are waiting for that. well, at least thats what we say :)

I have two alarms that wake me each morning and get me out of bed. The first is my clock radio. The second is Sonny, my corgi lab mix. The radio wakes me with music and the news. Sonny gets me out of bed with his bark which, translated into English, says, "Get up and feed me, d@mn it."

I didn't teach Sonny to swear, although I've said "D@mn" and "He!!" on occasion. I picked up those words in junior high. By high school I felt like I had a problem with profanity, so I accepted some advice from my older brother. Each time I swore I hit myself on my upper leg. A big purple bruise formed after a few days, and since then I've mostly stopped swearing.

Sonny, who lives in my back yard says, "D@mn d@mn d@mn...." till I put down his food bowl. The swearing then stops for the morning.

Jake, my setter mix who lived in the garage, rarely swears. He greets me with, "Dad, I gotta go outside and pee." I open the garage door. Jake runs up the driveway to the front yard. He takes care of business and then sniffs around the yard, locating each spot where the dogs who run free in the neighborhood have taken care of their business while he was confined to the garage.

It hasn't been a perfect world for either dog. When Jake was rescued as a pup, running back and forth across Highway 220 between speeding cars, it was obvious that he had minimal human interaction. As a shy dog no one wanted to adopt him, so he was fostered by his rescuer for six months where he learned to trust a few people. After he let me adopt him he decided to stay in the garage where he felt safe. Some of my indoor cats were too intense for him.

Sonny's world was one of being abandoned. When a couple of co-workers rescued him from Sunset Avenue but no one could keep him, I took him to my vet for a check up and boarded him while I looked for his owner or a rescue organization. When no one would take him and he was deemed unadoptable due to his assertive nature, I had a choice - put him to sleep or bring him home. I chose the latter.

With his roaming nature I decided that he needed to be fenced in. He would probably like to run free, but he has adapted to his world of the 30' x 60' fenced yard, with the view from the deck as a bonus.

This is my favorite time of year to shoot photos of the sunrise, because the sun rises later in the morning. I decided this morning get dressed and leave home without shaving or showering. After feeding Sonny and Jake, and saying 'Good morning" to each of the cats, I left with my camera to find the sunrise.

the best thing about this picture is how i got it...

when you go in the backyard with jackson he loves to pick up a stick or whatever he can find...but if you get too close to him, he runs away wanting you to chase him. it took a while for him to understand that i only wanted a picture of him, and did not want to take the stick away. when he finally settled down for a good chomp, i could get all the pictures i wanted!

side note...can you tell how badly we need rain??? the grass is desperate...

Our Irish Setter & friend Rupert, his last day with us, RIP. This lovey dog, Rupert, cheated death with the help of our vet , jayne baines and a black lab, called Molly. Jane removed an (8KG Tumor from his splein - he was a very big dog) and Molly donated blood. Both saved his live. He lived for another two and a half years and was nearly 14. We love him and miss him so much! here is the news artice www.heywoodadvertiser.co.uk/news/s/508553_blood_hounds

I had forgotten that i promised the Schlager's that i would give them the pictures i took of Erika at the final tournament of the season. In fact, i just received a couple orders from Norlanco parents-that was the only thing that reminded me of this. I thought i put these images behind me, but i guess i still have to edit a few of them before i put them in one of the archive hard drives (or in other words, the pit that never sees light of day)

First time I've ever run into another bike on the beach. Hi Steve.

Already 6 years and the sweetest boy of all.

The Trend-setter enjoys making the rules, and then breaking them. She daringly mixes stripes with polka dots, prints with solids, darks with lights, and wears them with confidence. Never afraid to try something new, she looks forward to the adventures that await and a life that inspires.
