What is emotional mugging?

Emotional mugging is a psychoanalytic subject to subject exchange formed as a response to our hyper-digital sexual landscape.

The over communication relayed in cell based technology and content driven media further detaches passengers of our modern society from deep emotional understanding. These detached residents seek meaning and physical contact which is readily available via traditional social standards often displaced thru the lens of the modern id. These individuals turn to salutation based sexual exchange and solo vice in return for a confirmation of non-emotion. This state of being that is well considered normal in our modern society is riddled with denial depravity and causes destruction on both the internal and external levels.

EM is an unfortunate but tragically essential practice in the age of digital intimacy. Essentially “mugging” is non verbal and non-physical emotional exchange, regardless of the status of the mugger and the muggee. Mugging can help to fill the holes in our ego, and the gaps in our society.

Unlike traditional mugging EM is a victimful crime wherein both the perpetrator and subject are victims of their emotional purpose whether the ego intention is subversive or provocative.

Sexual response has been common for both roles and have often led to meaningful non physical sexual relations.

Remember you heard it hear last! This setlist was not from the Gaston Hall show, but the December 1, 1980 at The Bayou, Washington DC, US. It was snagged from Andy's mic stand by me at The Bayou. I rescanned it in 2010. It is also in an XTC Box Set released by Virgin, "Coat of Many Cupboards" .

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coat_of_Many_Cupboards .

The set includes tunes from the first four albums. In the box It has an illustrated booklet with this very setlist, it was used without permission, then again, I stole it, we are even!

David Gilmour's 70,000 fans gather for his first ever concert in Buenos Aires Hipódormo de San Isidrio, Argentina.

The singer-songwriter decided to craft a setlist blending his own solo material with highly anticipated and well-loved Pink Floyd tunes.

The first half of the gig brought the audience Dark Side of the Moon classics "Us & Them" and "Money" along with solo cuts " 5 A.M.," "In Any Tongue" and "A Boat Lies Waiting" from his latest studio album, Rattle That Lock.

The show saw a similar second set of debut album track "Astronomy Domine," Atom Heart Mother's "Fat Old Sun" and Wish You Were Here fan favorite, "Shine On You Crazy Diamond." As the set continued, the 69-year-old guitar legend rolled out more solo material off of his fourth studio album including "The Girl in the Yellow Dress," "Today," and "On An Island" trailed by his former group's "Sorrow" and The Wall track, "Run Like Hell."
