Julien «Seth» Malland débute le graff à Paris dans les années 1990. Spécialiste de la réalisation de personnages, il parcourt le monde à la rencontre d’artistes avec lesquels il collabore à la réalisation de fresques. De ces voyages, il tire la première publication de la série Globe Painter (primée au festival du carnet de voyage de Clermont-Ferrand en 2007). Ses réalisations transportent le spectateur dans l’univers onirique de l’enfance amenant le regard au-delà des murs.

Running out of pebbles to paint I’ve started on wood slices instead. Seth, proudly sporting his Yorkshire medal, has joined the hat wearing ‘Owly Bunch’.

It's time to introduce my new boy properly. I changed his name to Seth because I think it suits him more than Kei.
I'm waiting his wig but I'm pretty happy with Arion's stock wig :D
He often dresses in all black these days and likes his clothes to have a psuedo-paramilitary look. It isn't my thing but he is a teenager who needs to express his individuality in his own way. The benefit of his wardrobe is that it really shows off snow excellently; which is why I decided on using this picture for face #2..

"she is an interdisciplinary practitioner with her primary concerns lying between cultures of violence, memory, space and the body. She conceptualised and designed, the Conflictorium, a Museum of conflict.. She is the recipient of the Jane Lombard Prize for Art and Social Justice 2020-2022."
Seth modeled for the portrait studio my wife attends. I met Seth briefly while I was picking up my wife after the session.
Seth was kind enough to let me do a couple of photographic portraits for my Human Family project before de-costuming.
The studio group had a fun and educational session - painting aside. Seth was happy to broaden the horizons of this mostly senior citizen group by giving a good-natured explanation of the Drag King concept. Seth is a woman, posing as a man, who is in drag as a woman. In other words, a Drag King.
Since I had arrived at the tail end of the session, I didn't have a chance to engage in much conversation with the fun and friendly Seth, but I appreciated their willingness to participate in my Human Family photo project.
