Depuis 2008, la ville de Sète accueille le festival K-Live, un concept original, pluridisciplinaire, un festival qui crée un pont entre arts urbains, arts plastiques et concerts de musiques actuelles.
Chaque année, un ou plusieurs artistes sont invités à prendre possession de murs de la ville qui devient ainsi au fur et à mesure un véritable musée à ciel ouvert (MACO).
En 2014, Julien « Seth » Malland, Monsieur Qui, Kashink, Bault et Goddog sont les invités.
Seth nous propose ici un personnage qui ôte son chapeau pour dévoiler dans sa tête un poulpe entouré d’une garniture coloré. Une façon amusante de nous faire découvrir l’une des spécialités culinaires de la ville, la Teille.
La Teille est une tourte ronde à base de pâte à pain. Elle est garnie de poulpes coupés plus ou moins finement, mélangés avec une sauce tomate pimentée. Ce plat a été importé à Sète par les migrants italiens à la fin du XIXème siècle.

I usually don't post our wedding work on flickr, but I just love the colors and light in this shot.
I wanted my White Lightning when I took this shot, but didn't have time to get it. I bracketed instead. I think it came out better that it would have with the WL.

I am working on another sample album, this time I want it all to be Seth's senior pics (that way I can keep it for myself too). I needed 20 pics for it, and only had 3-4 in it already. So I spent a good chunk of this morning working on editing photos from his shoot.
I'm super happy with them now.
Sometimes I look at these pics and am amazed how handsome I think this kid is. Of course, I'm biased being his mom!
I really looked forward to taking his Senior photos - I waited 18 years to take them!

He often dresses in all black these days and likes his clothes to have a psuedo-paramilitary look. It isn't my thing but he is a teenager who needs to express his individuality in his own way. The benefit of his wardrobe is that it really shows off snow excellently; which is why I decided on using this picture for face #2..
