The canals of Sete are lined with small boats and yachts while along the edges of the canals are attractive buildings housing shops, restaurants and bars.
The building on the left is the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sète. As such, it is an organization responsible for representing the interests of the 5,746 commercial, industrial and service companies of the Sète district and providing them with certain services. It is a public institution that also manages equipment for the benefit of these companies.
Sete is a major port city in the southeast France, known as "Venice of the Languedoc " for its canal work.
