Market Update
Housing activity continues to remain above year-ago levels despite some setbacks resulting from the now-expired tax credit. Improved stability in home prices with similar levels of distressed properties seen last year offers a hopeful sign the market is holding its ground. However, the economy still has a considerable way to go to achieve its full recovery.
Consumers are saving more and being picky about how they spend their money. While a higher savings rate means less spending in the near term, this is a positive sign that households are taking control of their finances to build some cushion that can be used to pay down debt and/or support future spending.
Existing home sales marked the twelfth consecutive month of year-over-year increase in June. On a monthly basis, sales activity eased 5.1% from May. The moderation in home sales reflects “understandable swings as buyers responded to the tax credits,” according to Lawrence Yun, NAR chief economist. He anticipates such impact to show up in the next two months.
June’s median home price increased for the fourth consecutive month. Distressed homes, accounting for 32% of sales last month, continued holding home prices at highly affordable levels for the time being. While distressed sales hovered around the same level as a year ago, the gain in home prices is pointing to a sustained stability in the making.
Interest Rates
Mortgage rates set a new record low in July as consumer confidence softened and unemployment remained elevated. This presents a great opportunity for buyers and investors. Coupled with lowered home prices and a robust rental market, investors are finding their way to cash-flow opportunities. As recovery gains deeper roots, rates will need to rise to keep inflation in check.
Rates as of August 6.

Consumers Beware: New Credit Card Tricks
On May 22, 2009, President Obama signed into law the Credit Card Accountability, Responsibility, and Disclosure (CARD) Act of 2009, marking a turning point for American consumers and ending the days of unfair rate hikes and hidden fees. While the new law offers significant safeguards, consumers still need to be vigilant against new practices designed to outflank the new rules.
Stay as informed as possible, read your statement , report any irregularities immediately, and watch for these tricks.
Shortened Billing Cycle: The CARD Act requires companies to allow a window of at least 21 days from when a statement is mailed and when payment is due. Cardholders are reporting being shortchanged on billing cycle time and then being assessed late-payment fees.
Advice: Watch out for shortened payment dates.
Sunday Due Dates: The CARD Act stipulates if a creditor does not receive or accept payments on weekends or holidays, then the date is extended and late-payment fees shouldn’t be triggered. However, some banks say they’re open for business even when there’s no mail delivery.
Advice: Don’t assume you are safe.
Low-Limit Cards: The CARD Act says a card’s total annual fees can’t exceed 25% of a borrower’s credit line. However, some issuers may be evading the fee restrictions by charging an up-front processing fee that doesn’t fall under the 25% cap.
Advice: Watch out for processing and other fees.
False Inactive Fees: Issuers will no longer be able to charge inactivity fees or extra charges for people who don’t spend a certain amount each year, effective August 22. However, some issuers are charging an annual fee that’s waived if cardholders reach a certain spending threshold.
Advice: Watch out for conditional annual fees.
Rebate Offers: Some credit cards offer refunds on finance charges when customers pay on time. However, rebate offers aren’t governed by the CARD Act, and such offers can be revoked suddenly and for any reason, leaving cardholders stuck with higher charges.
Advice: Rebates may translate to real savings in finance charges.

In all my life, I've never known someone more strong-willed than Susy. After years of setbacks and hold-ups, she finally had her hip replacement surgery three years ago. She got active quickly, but with the busyness of work and school, there was no time left for getting in shape. Over the past nine months, she's put in an incredible amount of effort to recover who she was, long hours taking back a sense of strength lost to pain and frustration. Susy is an intensely passionate person, deeply driven and remarkably heartfelt. Few people are more immediate and true to life than her. You can see the surgery scar in this picture, running down the upper half of her left thigh. Signs of an adventurer, fully alive.

The First Settlement:
On March 6, 1788, the British colours were raised over Norfolk Island.
Six weeks earlier, Britain's First Fleet had arrived at Botany Bay (soon to become Sydney) to establish the penal colony of New South Wales. Hand picked from the ranks of the First Fleeters were 23 settlers: 7 freemen, 15 convicts and the commandant, Lieutenant Phillip Gidley King. The occupation of the island was to serve two ends: to make available masts and sails from pine and flax for the refurbishment of British ships, and to prevent the island falling into the hands of His Majesty's rivals, the French.
The occupation suffered initial setbacks, but began to flourish. Ground was cultivated, crops planted and harvested; the settlement became a tiny township.
In March of 1790, Norfolk Island received some 300 new people to its shore, and the reef its first British ship. The ships "Sirius" and "Supply" had brought two companies of Marines plus new convicts from Sydney, where dwindling supplies of food had become a serious problem. The 540-ton " Sirius" and most of its provisions were lost on the coral reef.
The continuing influx of convicts from Sydney during the following few years saw Norfolk Island become nothing more than a labour camp for Sydney's most difficult officers and least-wanted felons. The island's main purpose was to provide food for Sydney. Maize, wheat, potatoes, cabbage, timber, flax and fruit of all kinds grew well in Norfolk Island. The population peaked at more than 1,100, and about a quarter of the island was cleared.
But by 1814 the island was empty. Sydney and the expanding colony of New South Wales had no further need to import food from Norfolk; the people who had occupied it were shipped back to New South Wales. The structures of the settlement were razed or pulled down stone by stone in order to dissuade passing ships from reoccupying the island - and to make the island less alluring for escaped convicts. The farm and domestic animals were shot, though wild dogs were left to scavenge.
Norfolk Island began to heal its scars. Trees grew to their former splendour; rain washed away the blood of the flogging yard; plants grew over the stone of the ruined buildings; and the sound of the lash on convict back was not heard again.
Until, that is, 11 years later when Norfolk became the Hell of the Pacific.
The Second settlement:
In 1824 the Governor of New South Wales, Sir Thomas Brisbane, received a directive from the British Secretary of State to the effect that Norfolk Island was to be turned into a penitentiary once again. Because of the island's inaccessibility, Brisbane decided that it was the best place to send the worst felons "forever to be excluded from all hope of return". Norfolk Island would be "the ne plus ultra of Convict degradation", "a place of the extremest punishment short of Death."
For many death was welcomed. Conditions in the gaol were appalling; a large percentage of the convicts were sentenced to remain in heavy chains for the terms of their natural lives; most convicts were chained during the day. Agricultural labour was the most hated kind; chain gangs were forced to hoe from sunrise until sunset. One convict in a field gang raised his hoe and split the head of the convict in front of him - not through malice or revenge, but to be hanged, to be free of a life worse than death. Why not suicide? Simply because most of the convicts were Catholics - a fact testified to by the cemetery's headstones.
Punishments were varied for petty crimes during this second occupation. Lashings were common: sometimes up to 500 strokes. Dumb-cells were constructed to exclude light and sound; many men lost their sanity in them. Solitary confinement, increased workloads and decreased rations - sometimes bread and water - were also common forms of punishment. One documented case concerns a convict by the name of Micheal Burns who suffered a total of 2210 lashes and almost two years in confinement, much of it in solitary, three months of that in total darkness, and at least six months of those two years on a diet of bread and water only. Burns' crimes? Insolence, suspected robbery, neglect of work, striking a fellow prisoner, bushranging, singing a song, calling for a doctor, attempted escape, and inability to work due to the debility caused by his punishments.
Convicts were also forced into hard labour as a form of punishment building much of what today is one of the world's chief glories of Georgian architecture - Kingston, Norfolk Island. Stone was quarried from Nepean Island, a rock close to shore, and coral rubble was rendered with lime and sand; thus most walls were formed, while Norfolk Pine was used for joinery and roofs. Floors were made from thin stone slabs.
During the late 1840s and early 1850s a number of influences led yet again to the abandonment of Norfolk Island. The cost of maintaining the penal settlement was growing; more than 1200 convicts were gaoled on the island, and Port Arthur in Van Dieman's Land (now Tasmania) was viewed as a less costly alternative. Dr Robert Wilson, Catholic Bishop of Hobart, wrote a damning report on the practices he witnessed on a visit to Norfolk Island, and called for its abandonment. A number of days before his visit 34 men were flogged; the day after his arrival, another 14; and at the service he held on the island, 218 of the 270 men attending were in chains. Last but not of least importance Earl Grey back in the British Parliament saw Norfolk as a possible home for the inhabitants of Pitcairn Island - the descendants of the mutiny on the "Bounty" and their Tahitian-Polynesian wives.
By 1855 the island stood empty once more. Never again would it bear witness to penal cruelty and inhumanity. And shortly it would receive the people who still call Norfolk Island their homeland - and who fight for the right to govern themselves.
Located at no. 92 King Street.
"This two storey townhouse-style brick house is perched on the hillside of King Street, with the rear facade overlooking the downtown core. It has a shallow setback from the street, with gardens to the south, and a house of similar vintage, style and form to the immediate north.
The Smith House, at 92 King Street, is recognized for its heritage value by the Town of Port Hope By-law 44/97 Schedule B-9, passed on October 6, 1997.
Set on a street of, mid to late, 19th century residences, the Smith House is of modest proportions. The Smith House is built into the hillside, making it appear to be a three storey house, from the rear, while its appearance from King Street, the front, is of a two storey brick townhouse.
Built between 1835 and 1844, the Smith House is an excellent example of the townhouse style that became prevalent, in Port Hope, in the 1840's. Its Classical Revival details include; the elaborate entrance, with transom and sidelights separated by columns; 6 over 6 double hung sash windows; and parapets with symmetrically placed chimneys.
The early history of the Smith House is obscure, but it has strong historical associations with its connections to two of Port Hope's most influential families; the Smiths; and the Waddells. The house was built on land that originally belonged to John David Smith. It may have been built around the same era as the two other Smith family properties, in the vicinity; Bluestone; and the Little Bluestone, both, of which, are designated under the Ontario Heritage Act. John David's father, Elias Smith, was one of the founding fathers of Port Hope and the Smith family played an active role in Port Hope's development throughout the 19th century. The house, however, may have been built by Robert Needham Waddell, the owner of the townhouse, similar to the Smith House, located to the immediate north. Waddell was a businessman who owned several properties in the downtown core, as well as, a nearby flour and gristmill. He went on to become a director of the Port Hope, Lindsay and Peterborough Railway Company, and was a sheriff in Port Hope, Northumberland and Durham. While the exact construction date and builder is unknown, Waddell seems to have certainly owned the house between 1844 and 1845.
Character defining elements that illustrate the heritage values of the Smith House include its:
- two storey (three storeys from the rear facade) townhouse style
- north and south parapets, with four symmetrically placed chimneys
- 6 over 6 double hung sash windows with shutters
- elaborate main entrance with sidelights and transom, separated by column mouldings
- low gable roof, with bracket details on the front facade
- interior Greek Revival fireplace with Greek 'key' motif" - info from Historic Places.
"Port Hope is a municipality in Southern Ontario, Canada, approximately 109 km (68 mi) east of Toronto and about 159 km (99 mi) west of Kingston. It is located at the mouth of the Ganaraska River on the north shore of Lake Ontario, in the west end of Northumberland County. The private Trinity College School opened here in 1868.
The Cayuga people, one of the Six Nations of the Iroquois Confederacy, migrated as United Empire Loyalists to the Port Hope area from New York state in 1779. They had been forced from their ancestral homeland in the Finger Lakes region, south of the Great Lakes, after having fought for King George III as Loyalists during the American Revolution. Great Britain had ceded their lands, along with all other territory in the Thirteen Colonies east of the Mississippi River, after the United States won independence.
In 1793, other Loyalists from the northern colonies became the first permanent settlers of European heritage in Port Hope, as the Crown granted them land as compensation for being forced to leave the colonies (much of their property was confiscated by rebel governments) and as payment for military service. The new colonists called the settlement Smith's Creek after a former fur trader. They developed mills and a town plot by the turn of the century.
After the War of 1812, the Crown tried to recruit more British settlers, and townspeople wanted a new name. After a brief fling with the name Toronto, the village was renamed in 1817 as Port Hope, after the Township of Hope of which it was a part. That was the namesake of Colonel Henry Hope, lieutenant governor of the Province of Quebec. The post office dates from 1820. In 1834 Port Hope was incorporated as a town.
Relatively slow growth from 1881 to 1951 resulted in much of the town's 19th century architecture surviving. In the early 21st century, Port Hope's downtown is celebrated as the best-preserved 19th-century streetscape in the province of Ontario. The town's local chapter of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario and the Heritage Port Hope Advisory Committee are very active and advise on the restoration and preservation of architecturally or historically significant buildings.
With over 270 heritage-designated buildings throughout the municipality, Port Hope has a higher per capita rate of preservation than any other town or city in Canada. Downtown businesses are regulated by the municipality to maintain the town's unique character. This special character makes Port Hope a destination for heritage tourism and people interested in architecture." - info from Wikipedia.

These modern humans would rather die from the Covid-19 virus infection, even if there is no fully effective vaccine, than try the help of our much more advanced computer artificial intelligence, this definitely would have been greatly laughed at by the ancient outer space alien high-tech civilization.
Never try to use an unchanging vaccine to fight a mutated virus.
Otherwise, once the mutated virus can make full use of the weakened vaccine antibodies to backbite the human immune system of its vaccinators, it means that a large number of vaccinators across the country will face a tragic period of mass extinction at the same time, and they will be completely unable to be rescued, that is, the Covid-19 antibody-dependent enhancement, ADE.

A grim warning from Israel: Vaccination blunts, but does not defeat Delta.
With early vaccination and outstanding data, country is the world’s real-life COVID-19 lab.
Israel has among the world’s highest levels of vaccination for COVID-19, with 78% of those 12 and older fully vaccinated, the vast majority with the Pfizer vaccine. Yet the country is now logging one of the world’s highest infection rates, with nearly 650 new cases daily per million people. More than half are in fully vaccinated people, underscoring the extraordinary transmissibility of the Delta variant and stoking concerns that the benefits of vaccination ebb over time.
...
Israel’s sobering setback
Israel, which has led the world in launching vaccinations and in data gathering, is confronting a surge of COVID-19 cases that officials expect to push hospitals to the brink. Nearly 60% of gravely ill patients are fully vaccinated.
...
What is clear is that “breakthrough” cases are not the rare events the term implies. As of 15 August, 514 Israelis were hospitalized with severe or critical COVID-19, a 31% increase from just 4 days earlier. Of the 514, 59% were fully vaccinated. Of the vaccinated, 87% were 60 or older. “There are so many breakthrough infections that they dominate and most of the hospitalized patients are actually vaccinated,” says Uri Shalit, a bioinformatician at the Israel Institute of Technology (Technion) who has consulted on COVID-19 for the government. “One of the big stories from Israel [is]: ‘Vaccines work, but not well enough.’”
...
Yet boosters are unlikely to tame a Delta surge on their own, says Dvir Aran, a biomedical data scientist at Technion.
...
Aran’s message for the United States and other wealthier nations considering boosters is stark: “Do not think that the boosters are the solution.”

Zoe Johnsen
Zoe Johnsen began her mining career in 2008 as a trainee operator.
After a few setbacks in her training, Zoe was determined to improve the quality of training.
“The crew supervisors, training department and I implemented important changes to the trainee training program so that all trainees after me could receive higher quality training,” said Zoe.
“Now, before being authorised as competent, it is necessary to complete time observing from the passenger seat of every piece of loading equipment. Both myself and (colleague) Don are proud to have accomplished a meaningful change for trainees.”
Zoe’s initiative resulted in her being promoted to a trainer/assessor role where she has coordinated a training plan for women to help them transition to a new working environment.
“Something that is deeply meaningful to me and others in my circle is spreading awareness around the LGBTQIA+ community. I started volunteering my time with the LGBTQIA+ youth and began mentoring youths outside of the support groups.
“I endeavour to be a voice for all women in mining and I represent the capability of Thiess’s women with pride when I wear my uniform.
“Through my contribution to the development of training programs, I hope to better the education and upskilling offered to women in order to enrich their careers and the wider industry.
“By making training more comprehensive and imparting more knowledge, it aims to encourage the long-term retention of more women. By sharing the journey that I have been on throughout my career and my achievements, I hope to empower women to seek parity and opportunity.”
Sudbury Junior Wolves vs Temiscaming Royals Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Le Centre, Temiscaming, Quebec.
Photo of Leclair's 1st goal taken by Lise-Anne Gaudet.
The Temiscming Royals playing once more with a short bench due to recent injuries and suspensions managed to hand the second place Wolves a 3-2 setback. The Royals now 5-1-1 have a five point lead on both the Wolves and Trappers, with Sudbury having two games in hand.
Again the home team opened with the first goal. While on a power play, with passes from Robin Mendelsohn and Rusty Jonah, Andre Leclair was able to beat Chris Kaye on the short side.
With Rusty Jonah serving his second minor of the first, Michael Rouleau put one through the five hole on Matt Zawadzki from the blue line to tie the game. But only 20 seconds later, the Royals regained the lead when Leclair found the back of the net from Mendelsohn and Thomas Brown. Shots were 16-12 Royals.
The Wolves clawed back into the game at 5:54 when Sebastien Leroux tied the score at two goals apiece. Around the mid point of the period Justin Kohler with assists from Leclair and Mendelsohn gave the Royals the lead for the third time. There was no other scoring in the second or third periods. Both Chris Kaye and Matt Zawadzki shut things down the rest of the way. Sudbury pulled the goalie for an extra attacker but Zawadzki was up to the challenge.
Matt Zawadzki was #1 star stopping 38 shots, while Andre Leclair with a pair of goals and one assists brought his league leading total to 19 points. His linemate Robin Mendelsohn chipped in with three assists to remain second overall with seventeen points.
Sudbury's Evan Daciuk was the star #3. Attendance was 194.
Head Coach/G.M. Steve McCharles commented after the game, "I want to acknowledge the play of Matt Zawadzki this afternoon, we needed
our netminder to be sharp and he delivered." McCharles went to say "our goalie situation is pretty good right now." He went on "we had to stick with our game plan today and the players did just that, we were low on the bench but everybody put in a little extra effort."
Next home game for the Royals is Friday October 1st when the Trappers will be in town for an eight o'clock puck drop at The Centre.

One of my lesser ambitions, to see all Concordes in preservation, received a substantial setback today. On a second visit to Barbados, I was able to get a private car to help me to fulfil an outstanding wish to see G-BOAE. I now regret more than before a failed attempt of five years ago. When we drove to the exhibition entrance, it was clearly closed and looked as though it had been for some time. There was no specific information at the gate. I asked my driver to go past the terminal where I saw the sign displayed in the open air check in area. I took the phrase 'Closed for Renovations' at face value but was very disappointed.
When I researched further, disappointment turned to something approaching anger. The Barbados Concorde Experience has been closed since at least 1 July 2018 and the exact reasons remain unclear. I am emotionally attached to Concorde as are many people and I fervently hope that AE, which is at least indoors, will not be neglected like AB. Eighteen of the twenty Concordes built are preserved and that is exactly the way it should be.
At least I saw the Adams VOR-DME (BGI) 😊 (top picture, far left)

NEWARK, Del. (Sept. 27, 2008) - Coming off a disappointing setback a week earlier and with the memory of an upset lost to Albany two seasons ago still in their minds, Delaware made sure of the outcome this time. Backed by a defense that allowed just 150 total yards and a 60-yard interception return for a touchdown by Tyrone Grant, the No. 17 ranked Blue Hens dominated the second half and cruised to a 38-7 victory over Albany Saturday night.

The way to the State contract
Although the Allies declared the restoration of Austria as an independent state to one of their war aims already in the "Moscow Declaration" in 1943 and Austria was designated the first "victim" of Hitler's policy of aggression, after 1945 the way to a State treaty became difficult and was marked by repeated setbacks. This was mainly due to the disagreement between the Western Allies and the Soviet Union. In the beginning of the "Cold War", Moscow feared that an independent Austria could enter into a military alliance with the Western powers. In addition, the Soviets repeatedly pointed out that the State Treaty alone would not provide sufficient protection against a renewed attachment of Austria to Germany and the associated threat of war, and therefore made its signature dependent on a solution to the "German Question" (Germany was divided in West Germany and East Germany, the latter one controlled by the Soviet Union). It was ultimately Stalin's death on 5 March 1953 that made movement on the Soviet side possible. In February 1955, Soviet Foreign Minister Molotov in a speech to the "Supreme Soviet" for the first time suggested the solution of the absolute package deal between the Austrian State Treaty and the German Question. In March Molotov invited Chancellor Raab to Moscow for negotiations. These negotiations in April, where in addition to Raab also Vice Chancellor Adolf Schärf, Foreign Minister Leopold Figl and State Secretary in the Foreign Ministry, Bruno Kreisky, participated, should then bring the breakthrough. The talks took place in an excellent mood, and the diplomatic skills of the Austrian negotiators were praised by both the Soviets and Western diplomats. In the final communique - the "Moscow Memorandum" - a "speedy conclusion" of the State treaty was also promised. Austria agreed not to join a military alliance or to allow military bases of foreign power on its territory. The repayment by Austria of the "German assets" confiscated by the Soviets - a sum of 150 million dollars had been stipulated in the 1949 State Treaty Bill - could be made entirely in deliveries of goods. The oil production sites and the Danube steam shipping company should also get Austria back. Furthermore, the release of the remaining Austrian prisoners of war in the Soviet Union was agreed.
At the beginning of May, the "Conference of Ambassadors" began in Vienna, in which Figl and Kreisky participated in addition to the diplomatic representatives of the four occupying powers. In the process, the last obstacles should be removed and a conference prepared by the foreign ministers of Austria and the occupying powers. This "Foreign Ministers' Conference took place on May 14, one day before the signing of the State Treaty. The Foreign Ministers agreed to essentially adopt the 1949 State Treaty, and the in the "Moscow Memorandum" documented results of the Moscow negotiations include as annex. Austria's freedom from alliance should be guaranteed by the status of neutrality. It was agreed that this concept of neutrality should be defined precisely by diplomatic means. Figl also achieved that the third paragraph of the preamble, putting the blame on Austria for complicity, was canceled "for moral reasons". One of the first to congratulate the Austrian government on its success was German SPD chairman Erich Ollenhauer. Probably not unjustly he congratulated Austria for its "smooth diplomacy".

After the setbacks sustained during 'Black Week' in December 1899 the British government realised it would need more men to defeat the Boers. It responded by raising the Imperial Yeomanry on 24 December 1899. Although based on the existing county yeomanry regiments, the new formations also contained a large contingent of volunteers. The Buckinghamshire Yeomanry were part of the First Contingent of Imperial Yeomanry formed in 1900 from around 10,0000 volunteers who signed up for 12 months service as mounted infantry.

I planted this tree, renowned for its large yellow boquet like flowers, at Raintrees, Diamond Beach a few years ago and it was doing OK, although each year it would face a setback in the dry spring before leafing up again coming into early autumn.
Given that it was surviving here well over 2000km south of its native range in Far North Queensland I thought I had done well to keep it alive.
Just as it was beginning to look good again, in July 2018 a storm caused a a 5 metre section of a nearby Mexican Tree Fern (Schizolobium parahyba) to break off, smashing the Deplanchea tetraphylla off at the ground.
After so much effort to get it to where I had I was of course very despondent after this event.
Nevertheless I took the broken bits and stuck them in a pot of soil and surprisingly they took root pretty quickly and survive to this day in my nursery. The good news is the broken Mexican Tree Fern has resprouted and the adjoining Alloxylon Flammeum (Australian Tree Waratah), also seriously damaged has also bounced back well.
From January 2019 I had been seeking to purchase another advanced tree and was lucky enough to find 2 at Plumtree Pocket Nursery at Burringbar. I was fortunate that a friend was able to transport the 2 advanced trees down to Diamond Beach in late May 2019.
Recently I saw Deplanchea tetraphylla growing well in the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney so I have today bitten the bullet and planted one of the two trees in a hard spot but I've dug a big hole and added good loam and some lime.
I am hoping the winter will not impact the tree too much but keeping the water up to it in spring may be an issue. Well see how I go.

Just trust me when I say I needed to move the dai dai maru and replace the fuyu persimmon trees.
The dai dai maru overwintered in a big pot, out of harms way. I found a suitable replacement fuyu in a nursery. Both went into the ground in Spring 2024. They sprouted nicely. That -7°C September frost must have been a record. The resulting leafless sticks weren't exactly liveless; nor were they anymore lively.
Slow recovery through Summer 2024 brought hope of something better next year; this year now. Spring, apart from the wind, had been benign, they were bounding along; all big, healthy shoots and promise.
Like the fig, this is early in the day. That soft fleshy tip of the fuyu has succumbed immediately to the overnight frost; a biggy for November. By the afternoon, they look like walking sticks hung with black rags.
What's next? Well, I'm helping a man unload his van so he can install some new doors for me. But there's a smell in the air; both familiar and alien… I'll investigate in a while.
Hartford’s bright start to the season suffered its first setback on Sunday at the Matthews Sportsplex in Charlotte, North Carolina. Despite great efforts from Danny Barrera and Preston Tabort Etaka, as well as goalkeeping heroics from Jeff Caldwell, two brilliant individual goals and a deflected strike helped Charlotte to seal the three points and My8four3's Jerry Self was on the Pitch keeping the fans #LockedIN.
