Passing through the Luton interchange having worked service 9 from Rumfold estate to the Luton shopping mall is Arriva the shires (V82EVU 2439) a 1999 Optare Solo seen in its final service days just week s before withdrawal. Formally a MK Metro based vehicle.
Parked inside Aylesbury bus station is (P550WGT 254) a 1996 Northern Counties bodied Volvo Olympian of Z&S Transport seen not in use having just worked service 165 from Leighton Buzzard. Formally based with Sullivan Buses and still carries the Livery and fleet numbers.
Leighton Buzzard high street is where we see (P810GMU) a 1996 Northern Counties bodied Volvo Olympian of Red Kite Commercial services working once a day service operated by Red Kite 164 to Aylesbury bus station in mid 2015. This certain working has now been suspended. New to Stagecoach Cambridge 16010.
Working school service 885 is this 1995 Alexander Royale bodied Volvo Olympian (KSK967), (N591BRH) of Motts Travel (Aylesbury) seen heading towards the town center having just departed from the St Henry Floyd Grammer School. This vehicle is one of three former East Yorkshire Motor Services Volvo Olympians now in use with the company. New to EYMS as 591.
Former Arriva the shires (N912ETM 2132) Plaxton bodied Mercedes 709D is seen parked up in Skegness coach park on a private day trip having traveled from Bedfordshire. The bus had been recently purchased privatly from Cotswold Green and was planned to be preserved but was later scrapped the same year during the summer. New to Luton & District in 1995.
2 differnt generation of dennis darts dating from 1992 to 2001 sat next to each other in the vale travel depot not performing any use at the time.
(W83NDW) 2000 Optare Solo of Z&S Travel and (L886SDY) 1993 Alexander bodied Mercedes 709D of Star Travel both seen parked in Aylesbury bus station in early 2015.
Working service 11 to Boxomoor is (W462UAG) a Plaxton bodied Dennis Dart of Lanes Coaches seen passing down Marlowes Street. New to East Yorkshire Motor Services as 462 in 2000. This vehicle has now been sold from the company and replaced by sister vehicle W461UAG which had been modified for DDA compliancy.
Having just departed Aylesbury bus station is Arriva the shires (Y47HBT 0447) a 2001 Optare Solo seen operating service Red Route 9 to Stoke Mandeville Hospital. New to buckinghamshire County Council.
Parked up in Watford town center is (TKZ9791) (J631KCU) a Wright bodied Dennis Dart that was seen attending the Watford bus running day. Vehicle had been purchased for preservation a few days before but was sold a week later due to mechanical faults. It now serves with Reds Coaches in Leicester on daily work shuttle services. New to Go North East in 1992.
Seen on a local housing estate in Aylesbury is this 1993 Alexander bodied Mercedes 709D (L886SDY) that was new to Stagecoach Cumbria. It is seen here before proceeding to form a local School contract in Chesham. Sadly this bus has now been sold on from the company since photography.

Parked up at a storage yard in Cranfield town near Cranfield University is 1990 Wright bodied Dennis Dart. This vehicle was temporary in preservation but has since been sold for presumably scrap. This bus was new to Gold Arrow in London as DW170 and was later serving with First Londn before final service days with First Somerset & Dorset. It was declared SORN for 11 yearsand sat in a yard then was returned to the road in 2015 for approximately 4 months then sold and declared SORN again. (M513VJO) a formerAutocar & Oxford Cityline Dennis Dart is also seen parked beside NDZ3170.
Marylebone station is where we see this 2003 ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TL of Arriva (VLA48) London working central london service 2 from Victoria. Bus is seen having just terminated outside the train station awaiting to work the next 2 service.

Passing through Hemel Hemstead town center working service 500 to Watford from Aylesbury is Arriva the shires 5462 (SN15LPL) a 2015 Alexander Dennis Envio 400 based at Aylesbury for use mainly on service 280 to Oxford. Its seen here heading for Hemel bus station before heading further onward to its destination (Watford).
Freshly painted into a striking metallic red livery is this 2001 Plaxton bodied Dennis Dart that has recently been refurbished and resprayed from its previous green livery with MK 21 branding. It seem to have been re-branded for the 321 Aylesbury to High Wycombe service and will return to the road soon. Bus is seen parked at the Redline depot on Gatehouse road Aylesbury.

Parked up at a storage yard on Gatehouse road (Aylesbury) is this 1998 Optare Solo that has recently been purchased by Star Travel along with 2 other sister vehicles. (SCZ3869) is seen here just a few days before entering service and looking very smart after a full respray. This bus formally served with Belfast Metro.
Parked up at the Redline yard on Gatehouse Road (Aylesbury) is this 1998 Alexander bodied Volvo Olympian still in daily use a school bus. This bus formally operated with sister company (Red Rose) before being transferred to Redline due to non DDA compliance. New to Dublin Bus before being re-registered in the UK.
1994 East Lancs bodied Dennis Dart (M454LLJ) is seen parked up awaiting school duties in the Vale travel depot.
Seen in Thame town centre on a cold winter afternoon having just worked service 40 from High Wycombe is this 1996 Plaxton bodied Dennis Dart approaching its final stop. This route has since been taken over by Carousel Buses and this vehicle has now been withdrawn from the Shires fleet.
