Cool Playmobil set I purchased in June. It's time to let them out now that Halloween is almost here!
Played around with different exposures, with the flash set at about 1/16 - 1/16 +0.3 power (it'll go as low as 1/64). Came up with an exposure I thought looked halfway decent (judging by the histogram), but now that I've seen this on the computer and here on Flickr, I don't know. I've got a lot to learn still. ~sigh~ (Feeling a little disappointed at the moment, after all the effort I put into this tonight.)
Except for cropping it, this is SOOC. I took several photos, and will probably post a few more from this shoot. For now, though, time to... zzzzz.
I like how my unedited eyeballses look large on black. (If Big Huge Labs doesn't let you see this LARGE on black, then I'm going to leave the impression of my foot on their face. :P Well, maybe not, but I definitely won't be happy.)
EDIT: I spent a little time this evening looking for a screen/cover sort of thing to protect the LCD screen of my camera. I found a company that makes some for the Canon 50D, but no one who carries them. Amazon doesn't, and B & H Photo doesn't. They both carry the one for the 40D, though. Helluva lot of good that does me. :P It is a new camera, as well as a new product from that company, so this is to be expected... perhaps. I also ordered that set of DVDs a couple of days ago. The set I mentioned in my comments here.

Quite often little children of street vendors, who are not yet in school, will stay
with their parents during the day. They often are very creative in finding new ways
to stay entertained. These three decided to see if they could become a box set. :)
