This is a set of paper dolls featuring two little girls and their outfits. The book was made by Merrill Company and is labeled #2570 © MCMXLIX - MCMLVII Printed in USA. The book is called "Betty Blue and Patty Pink - Four Dolls and Wrap-A-Round Dresses." There are three dolls from the cover of the book which is cardboard. Their clothes and accessories are on paper pages and a few have been cut out. The book of dolls measures 10.5" (26.7 cm) wide and 12.5" (31.8 cm) tall. This set of paper dolls would make a beautiful collectible or could be put to great use in your scrapbook, collage, altered art, card or mixed media projects.
this one is under my computer table. flash on the left is YN 467 with purple gel. while up front is my Di 622 using my DIY PVC stand and DIY snoot you can see the tissue in front to diffused light further.

K91 pulls into Telopea Station as 49BF. It will terminate at the next stop Carlingford, and then return with another service back to Clyde. As K-sets only operated on the Carlingford Line on weekdays, K74 and K91 would be the last K-sets to serve the line before its closure in the early morning of the 05/01/2020.
The 'oonjal' (swing) ceremony is possibly a throwback from the days of child marriages, where children were pacified and rocked to sleep after the ceremony on the large traditional teak swings that were common in the verandahs of houses. The swing ceremony actually symbolizes the ups and downs that every couple has to negotiate in their life together; however they are not alone, and their elders, families, friends are around to help them through this. Here, some friends of the two families sing traditional swing ceremony songs in Tamil. It was actually quite lovely and touching....

Introducing our newest set. I'm very happy with this little silly outfit. It was all created by chance as these shirts were meant for a bear pants set, but when I finished them they looked so cute I thought they deserved a proper set. Then when the petticoats were added I thought they would look cute with wings, and then of course we needed antennae.
So finally it came to life in a totally unexpected fashion. Maybe this is why I love it so much. ^__^
