Horizontal lines in the flint rubble walls show phases of construction. Each tier may be a season or a year's work. The lime mortar would have needed time to set before further weight (the next tier) was laid upon it.

Framlingham Castle, in rural Suffolk, is an early Norman motte and bailey or ringwork castle which had appeared in the records by 1148 AD but which may date earlier and may even be on the site of a Saxon occupation. Saxon graves have been found near the present entrance.
The first castle was destroyed by King Henry II in the aftermath of a revolt. Its replacement, constructed by Roger Bigod, Earl of Norfolk, was unusual for the time in having no central keep or donjon, but utilised a curtain wall with thirteen mural towers to defend it. It was probably completed by 1213.
The castle was successfully captured by King John in 1216, after a short siege. By the end of the 13th century, Framlingham had become a luxurious home, surrounded by extensive parkland used for hunting.
During the 15th and 16th centuries Framlingham was at the heart of the estates of the powerful Mowbray and then Howard families who had successively succeeded to the Dukedom of Norfolk. Two artificial lakes or meres were built around the castle, which was itself expanded in fashionable brick.
With a large, wealthy household to maintain, the castle purchased supplies from across England and brought in luxury goods from international markets. Extensive pleasure gardens were built within the castle and older parts redesigned to allow visitors to enjoy the resulting views.
Henry VIII's daughter Princess Mary was living here when news came of her brother Edward VI's death. She thus became queen and travelled to London to be crowned as Mary I, later known as 'Bloody Mary'.
By the end of the 16th century the castle had fallen into disrepair and, after the last Howard owner got into financial difficulties, the castle and the surrounding estates were sold off.
Framlingham Castle was given to Pembroke College as a philanthropic gesture in 1636, after which the internal buildings were taken down to make way for the construction of a poorhouse within the site. The castle was used in this way until 1839 when the facility closed.
The castle was then used as an Army drill hall and as a county court. In 1913, Pembroke College placed Framlingham into the guardianship of the Commissioner of Works. During World War Two the castle was again used by the British military as part of the regional defences against a potential German invasion.
Today it is managed by English Heritage. The site is open up to wall walk level which gives excellent views across the surrounding countryside. The walk walk is not wheelchair accessible but there is a lift part-way into the upper part of the main building where there is a museum.

I made the spirals a little smaller this time, added a gold seed nead to the middle of the spiral, and mounted them on french ear wires. Sometimes the middle beads are not available and I have to substitute with a more refined and oval shapped turquoise bead.

-So, I finally got my hands on set 76254 "Baby Rocket's Ship", and managed to incorporate it into a mech body.
The most interesting about this frame is that you can easily detach the ship from the mech waist, and combine it with some other vehicle that has plate underside on the bottom, which most vehicles do.
I really like how simple and effective the build for the original ship is, so I took extra care to alter it as little as possible. you can also just pull out the arms from the axle holes in the body.
One possible modification that you might want to do is raise the "roof" by one plate height, if you want your pilot to have a taller helmet. The hatch is just tall enough to close with a regular minifig and a basic helmet.
I used a skeleton with aqua sharks armor from the 90s, but didn't want to include him in the parts inventory, since you probably have your own custom pilots in mind.
