Still operating for M&B Travel of Shropshire is this 1994 built Marshall bodied Dennis Dart that was new to City of Oxford. It has served with several companies over its life time and worn different colour schemes and having its Dual door configuration converted to single. This bus is a sister vehicle to M513VJO another one of the Oxford batch Darts thats currently under preservation.
was a little slow to catch it missed out really and would have been better behind the tree but hay don't look to bad .. if you squint a little ;) (Snap)
Der zweite von den drei Lkw dieser Serie, der bei mir im Einsatz war. Übrigens ein seltsamer Maßstab, er passt nicht zu den übrigen Sets der damaligen Legoland-Welt – die Fahrzeuge sind viel zu groß. Das ändert aber nichts daran, dass es sich um gelungene Modelle handelt, mit denen man gut und gerne spielen konnte. Sie verfügen sogar über eine „Hand of God“-Lenkung, wird der „LEGO®“-Stein auf dem Dach gedreht, wird erfolgreich gelenkt. Auch die Türen lassen sich öffnen.
Der Stil entspricht einem Kurzhaubenlastwagen, die heute fast ausgestorben sind, damals auf den Straßen aber noch recht häufig anzutreffen waren. Darüber, dass sie über zwei Kühlergrills verfügen (der schwarze Stein oben in der Schnauze und der aufgedruckte zwischen den Scheinwerfern), sehen wir gnädig hinweg. Wir wollen nicht kleinlich sein.
In der Mechanik des Gabelstaplers fehlt eine Feder, daher bleibt die Gabel immer unten. Das erschwert das Be- und Entladen des Lkw ein wenig. Was wird da überhaupt transportiert? Giftmüllfässer?

Another set from clogher head.I often think when im out here of lord of the rings and i remember that tolkien said that he got a lot of his inspiration from his childhood holidays in ireland.The landscape and geology here is quite unique with a real rugged beauty.All these shots were taken early morning over the last two years.The first one is at sunrise july 10 and the second one is my favourite shot that i have ever taken about an hour after sunrise last august.The other shots were taken later on that first year with the final one looking south over the blasket islands.Dingle peninsula co kerry.Please view on black.
This was a teak dining set we found. It was obviously Scandinavian inspired but I think it may have been made in Canada because the table had Robertson screws. These chairs are unbelievable and in mint condition. I suspect maybe reupholstered and never sat in again. NOTE: As someone below recently pointed out these chairs were designed by the Danish designer Kai Kristiansen.
The little details on the table are definitely Scandinavian. The two enamel bowls are Cathrinholm in Norway and the "Spider" candleholder is designed by Danish designer, Jens Quistgaard for Dansk in the mid 1950s.
My friends on the high side setting up for this morning's sunrise. Note that this is March 23, 2014 and I am standing on frozen water....AGAIN!! it was a gorgeous COLD morning!!

A still life of coffee preparation in the kitchen. Entirely a set up shot as I don't drink coffee and the grinder hasn't been used for many years, Clive now has an electric one which may be quicker but has no aesthetic appeal. I did put coffee in the pot and cup as I was trying to capture the steam - a total failure there.
I'm interested to know members' preferences between this version, the closer view and the shot not taken on black (that one is only visible to studio 26 members)
As with many of my 'on black' shots, there is no actual black background used here, it is daylight and the black background is achieved with a small aperture and fast shutter, then the subject illuminated with flash directed through a homemade snoot.
