This was my first maternity session, and we had so much fun! It was a first for all of us :) so we had to work through the first few minutes of being unsure, but as soon as we started discussing the new baby-to-be it was just fun and laughs and relaxed.
Edited in Lightroom. I'm working on creating my own presets, they're such time savers!
Practicing with lights and depth of field. This is a lot to remember all at once. Also bought my first poses!

my first ever session at a studio, be kind.

I noticed this was the d2x image ( I used both cameras) but the d200 is identical but I will repost.
In August, confirmand Adrian brought the beautiful family dogs for the start of his photo session (Bernese mountain dogs, called Hayley and Iris).
He also took photos with his great-great-grandfather's top hat, and in the nice stairs and indoor swimming pool where he works out. Will show some of them later ツ

We photographers always seem show to the end result: the ever-happy, so-peaceful, sleeping-baby shots. Here, the reality of a newborn session... :-)
I have been having new inspiration to try out new portrait work recently. Though my shooting style mainly revolve around landscape, travel and lifestyle but I am keen on trying something new this year…
Thanks to Huey Yee and Woody for inviting me over for a casual portrait session yesterday. Had loads of fun specially on the ending part though I had an uninspired cold start earlier on.
