Cindy you are an absolute Goddess I cannot thank you enough for my brief encounter with the beauty you create
This be mah photo for the "beggars and liars, gypsies and thieves" collaboration with Cynthia, Gurbir, and Gillian (click the links to see their photos) (go NOW) (NOWWW). I don't actually remember a whole lot about the origin of the collab; it just kind of came out of a really late google+ chat and some Florence lyrics...oh my gosh seriously go to their streams. Right now.
Aaanyways, this is obviously for the 'thieves' portion. I was originally going to steal my friend's cats for stream cameos, but I think identity theft is so interesting because it's such a passive aggressive form of thievery, but potentially one of the most harmful. Also not to mention the additional amount of paranoia gained by victims of all thievery...thieves just suck, bro. Don't become one.
OH I almost forgot to thank my friend Alexa, who accidentally but voluntarily became my assistant for this shoot (or chauffeur, I guess; parking was sort of a big issue...). Thank you, Lex; you were a lifesaver!!!
Hopefully I'll still obtain the cats, though. Cats are one of those things you can't dangle and then deprive people of :)
Seriously cirrus

I've been thinking about a b/w version of this image from my 2010 - 365 project, a long time now. And as I'm testing the capabilities of Silver Efex Pro 2, I decided, that now is the time.
This program is really amazing.

Surely it can't be snowing in April, right? Well, in Illinois, anything is possible. The KBS has picked up their cars from CN and are now underway, seen here crossing Interstate 57 in the middle of a snow flurry which continued on for most of the day.

The green-eyed grey cat doesn’t look happy. It’s got its ear clipped which means it’s been neutered and then released to fend for itself.
On May 19, 1988 I was passing through Sudbury and spotted this consist near the roundhouse/shop. C424 4235 looks like it hasn't been long out of the paint shop. Kind of a cool consist with 8743 and 5942 behind it and a couple hi hood geeps in the background.
Boo, my neighborhood buddy
And this is Boo after it sinks in that his retrieving skills were not really required. Also what Boo did not realize is that I really only used him to get better at shooting black subjects since I have a black dog as well of whom I have not yet been able to take a decent picture.
I think I will take a treat along for the next time we meet.
(If you would like to see his initial excitement when he was under the impression that his retrieving skills were of great value, look at the prior picture of Boo)
So I had to get new glasses y lost my other ones on my last trip to Cali... let's see how long they last, with me you never know...
So yes, i've been completely MIA... RL has been beyond busy between work and starting school again soon.... BUT this hair, was totally worth logging in for .... YAMMI!

As I travel, I always find if funny how... The way people customize cars varies from region to region.
I saw this creation, and many others like it somewhere in Florida sometime last summer. Whenever I go through New Mexico, and some other sections of the southwest, I always see big cars with little, tiny, itty bitty tires. (SEE BELOW) So in the southwest, little tiny tires and wire wheels are cool. In the southeast, GIGANTIC chrome rims and low tires are cool? In either case, HUGE old Lincolns and Cadillacs are ALWAYS COOL!!!
Now… I'm trying to figure out the point of this creation.
OK…
Low profile tires are made to handle well.
Lifted cars don't handle well.
The point of lifting vehicles is to be good offroad.
Low profile tires can't go offroad.
So… What exactly is the function of this thing? Aside from looking completely retarded?
Thank goodness for telephoto lenses. It is most important to me that the seal should never have to take defensive or evasive action because of me. It needs all its energy to grow and deal with that tough old world out there.
Fyero looks quite cranky in this shot but in reality she wasn't.
Whew, this face looks like it's plotting my demise so I'm happy to announce she was actually purring between pets when I snapped this shot.
Don't worry though, she may have been content in the moment but that look indicating her disappointment in all my life choices is probably factual most of the time.
I mean, we do have a dog living in the house after all...
Hope everyone has had a good day.
