The Milky Way in the night sky, looking west-northwest from the Moray coast at Buckie, Scotland at 20.39 - 20.42 UT on 7th February 2024.
The Milky Way stretches diagonally through the picture. The double open star cluster (NGC 869 and 884) in the constellation of Perseus is a little above and left of centre of the photo. The Andromeda Galaxy (M31) is below and left of centre, towards the bottom of picture.
The photo is from a stack of nine 15-second images taken on a Canon EOS 6D Mk II camera with zoom lens set at 27 mm focal length. Each individual exposure was 15 seconds / f4 / ISO 4000. The 9 photos were stacked in 'Sequator' software giving a total exposure of 2 minutes 15 seconds. Final adjustment of the image levels was made in 'Photoshop Elements'.
A reworking of an earlier shot. This time making greater use of technology. This was processed using Sequator, which was rather better and building the trails than StarTrax

Bom dia amigos!
