Compilation Sequator, traitement Photoshop.
The Andromeda galaxy (M31) over Brighton.
The conditions were not ideal due to the humidity and Moon getting in the way, but it's always good to see some old favourites!
I used my big camera (Canon 6D mk ii) and even bigger lens (Canon zoom lens EF 100-400mm) set @ 400mm, giving a FoV of just over 3 degrees. Both were mounted on a green & white tracking gizmo toy thingy (Star Adventurer 2i). I took lots of long exposures (30s, ISO3200 & f5.6) until I finished marking some student essays and remembered that my camera was still outside (186 shots, apparently!). I merged them all using Sequator, with both a dark frame and a flat field.

Milkey Way Over the Grassy Knoll at Sunrise Springs, Santa Fe, NM
On this awesome relaxing evening at Sunrise Springs Spa resort (Sante Fe, NM), the clouds finally cleared to reveal a spectacular view of the stars from the grass covered knoll . . . with the beautiful sprawling tree in the foreground and the sparkling starlight of the Milky Way galactic center painting the sky!
Mars even made a showing there just above the tree line as the evening went on . . .

This stacked image was taken right before midnight on December 15, 2022 facing the eastern sky above Glendalough in Wicklow Mountains. This is Class 4 Bortle magnitude sky with some light pollution from the surrounding towns so the contrast is rather poor.

There are a number of ways to process a Milky Way photograph - this image has 2 sections -- the sky and the foreground. The sky is made up of 6 exposures of the Milky Way, each one is 15 seconds each, and you then take those 6 images and stack them in a piece of software called Sequator. Sequator removes much of the noise in the images. The second section is the foreground. Many people will take one or more photos on the foreground using really long exposures at low ISO so the foreground comes out clean and sharp. I chose to wait until the sun was rising so I could use the natural light to expose the foreground.
The glow you see on the middle left is just the sun creeping up - it was still about 45 minutes before sunrise so it was plenty dark still.
Finally, you take those 2 sections and bring them both into Photoshop where you can create a composite. Voila... you have a complete photo of the Milky Way.
I snapped the Moon and Venus together with my DSLR at 70mm focal length, ISO 100 and 1/50 second. I combined 5 images using Sequator and finished in GIMP.
Light from the setting Moon at Stair Hole along with the Milky Way. Eight exposures stacked, processed using PS and Sequator. Taken with Sony α7 with Samyang 14mm lens.

Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS). Taken in Austin, Texas under horrible sky conditions (haze and city lights). Stack of five images. Taken on Tuesday. Used Sequator's "Reduce light pollution" tool to remove sky glow. Anti-tail is easier to see.
I couldn´t sleep and decided to take a try on the milkyway.
Image is stacked via Sequator using 5 Pictures of the sky and 2 with the Lenscap for Noisereduction.
I retried the stack of 13 images with the Seestar S50 of M15 (129 minutes integration) with Deep Sky Stacker but, this time, the result showed more detail than with Sequator.
