Now why on earth would she try to eat my glasses? She gets 2 outings a day. Now I'm mad! My glasses guy, Ron at Twenty Twenty Eyes will not believe it. I am usually going in there quite often to have him adjust my glasses from a niece or nephew's rough housing knocking them off-kilter. But a dog? I'm sure he'll be happy as now he can easily talk me into buying a new pair. I love his shop anyway with all the cool unique frames. Time for another visit.
This was an exercise to separate the subject from the background using a ringflash. Although it is scaled down it is not at all edited.

Flagstaff Gardens (Melway ref. 2E, K1)
Flagstaff Gardens is a heritage site of much significance to Melbourne. It is the oldest public gardens, the settlement’s first burial site and the place at which the flag would be raised to signal an incoming ship. Flagstaff Gardens was also the site from which news of Victoria’s separation from NSW was signalled to Melbourne residents through the lighting of a great bonfire. This sculpture was created to mark the centenary of the proclamation of separation.

Some things are meant to be separated, (such as government and religion), but too often people forget the rules and mix them up, which usually generates more evil than good. A second interpretation is another dangerous (and unfortunately not so unusual) combination: Money and Faith…

"Unusual Combination(s)"
I learned yesterday that Loki suffers from separation anxiety. In the 3 hours she was left alone she peed on the floor and ate a copy of "Buffalo in our Hearts" -sorry artnoose!
