Many Everyday Messages, Enjoy Fruit by Lia, Small Tag Frame Cuts, Intense Black Ink, White Embossing Powder, and assorted Layering Papers.
As soon as I saw this set, I fell in love with these adorable little fruit stamps! For this quick card, I made a fruit collage. I took the "enjoy" sentiment from the set as well as each of the fruit images and arranged them in a nearly square pattern on an acrylic block. Using Intense black ink, I stamped the collage three times. The set includes a small leaf image that I used to stamp in some of the open spaces. Then, I quickly and easily colored the fruit with watercolors.
I die-cut a small tag, embossed it with a sentiment, and then adhered it with foam tape to the card center. After matting the stamped panel with black cardstock, I added a twine bow and a few yellow gems. I finished by applying the stamped panel to a shallows card base.

O Museu Paulista da Universidade de São Paulo, conhecido como Museu do Ipiranga, é um museu brasileiro localizado na cidade de São Paulo, sendo parte do conjunto arquitetônico do Parque da Independência. É o mais importante museu da Universidade de São Paulo e um dos mais visitados da capital paulista. É responsável por um grande acervo de objetos, mobiliário e obras de arte com relevância histórica, especialmente aquelas que possuem alguma relação com a Independência do Brasil e o período histórico correspondente. Uma das obras mais conhecidas de seu acervo é o quadro de 1888 do artista Pedro Américo, "Independência ou Morte".
Um dos principais objetivos do museu é mostrar aos visitantes o protagonismo do povo paulista na História do Brasil.
Edifício
O arquiteto e engenheiro italiano Tommaso Gaudenzio Bezzi foi contratado em 1884 para realizar o projeto de um monumento-edifício no local onde aconteceu o evento histórico da Independência do Brasil, embora já existisse esta idéia desde aquele episódio.
O edifício tem 123 metros de comprimento e 16 metros de profundidade com uma profusão de elementos decorativos e ornamentais. O estilo arquitetônico, eclético, foi baseado no de um palácio renascentista, muito rico em ornamentos e decorações. A técnica empregada foi basicamente a da alvenaria de tijolos cerâmicos, uma novidade para a época (a cidade ainda estava acostumada a construir com taipa de pilão). As obras encerraram-se em 15 de novembro de 1890, no primeiro aniversário da República. Cinco anos mais tarde, foi criado o Museu de Ciências Naturais, que se transformou no Museu Paulista. Em 1909, o paisagista belga Arsênio Puttemans executou os jardins ao redor do edifício. Este desenho de jardim foi substituído, provavelmente na década de 1920, pelo paisagismo do alemão Reinaldo Dierberger, desenho que se mantém, em sua maior parte, até os dias atuais.
Acervo
O Museu Paulista tem em seu acervo de mais de 125 mil artigos, entre objetos (esculturas, quadros, jóias, moedas, medalhas, móveis, documentos e utensílios de bandeirantes e índios), iconografia e documentação arquivística, do século XVI até meados do século XX, que servem para a compreensão da sociedade brasileira, com especial concentração na história de São Paulo. Os acervos têm sido mobilizados para as três linhas de pesquisa as quais o museu se dedica:
•Cotidiano e Sociedade
•Universo do Trabalho
•História do Imaginário
O acervo do Museu Paulista tem sua origem em uma coleção particular reunida pelo coronel Joaquim Sertório, que em 1890, foi adquirida pelo Conselheiro Francisco de Paula Mayrink, que a doou, juntamente com objetos da coleção Pessanha, ao Governo do Estado. Em 1891, o presidente do Estado, Américo Brasiliense de Almeida Melo, deu a Albert Löfgren a incumbência de organizar esse acervo, designando-o diretor do recém-criado Museu do Estado. As coleções, ao longo dos mais de cem anos do museu, sofreram uma série de modificações com o desmembramento de parte de seus acervos e incorporações.
O acervo do museu se encontra tombado pelo Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional - IPHAN.
Escadaria
A escadaria do museu tem um imenso valor simbólico ao povo paulista. A escadaria propriamente dita representa o Rio Tietê, que foi o ponto de partida dos Bandeirantes rumo ao interior do país. E no corrimão estão colocados esferas com águas dos rios desbravados pelos paulistas entre os séculos XVI e XVIII, como por exemplo o Rio Paraná, Rio Paranapanema, Rio Uruguai e o Rio Amazonas. Nas paredes do ambiente estão estátuas dos heróis bandeirantes, como Borba Gato e Anhangüera com as regiões por onde eles passaram mais notoriamente, que se localizam nos atuais estados desde o Rio Grande do Sul até o Amazonas. Sendo precedida pelas duas estátuas maiores no salão principal dos dois principais bandeirantes, Antônio Raposo Tavares e Fernão Dias Paes. E ao centro representado D. Pedro I, como herói da Independência.
Junto as estátuas existem pinturas representando a participação paulista em diversos momentos da história brasileira, como o ciclo da caça ao índio, o ciclo do ouro e a conquista do amazonas. Acima existem nomes de cidades e seus respectivos fundadores paulistas pelo Brasil, como Brás Cubas e Santos. E no teto pinturas de paulistas importantes na história do país, como o patriarca da independência José Bonifácio.

The Museu Paulista of the University of São Paulo (commonly known by Brazilians as Museu do Ipiranga) is a Brazilian history museum located near where Emperor D. Pedro I proclaimed the Brazilian independence on the banks of Ipiranga River in the city of São Paulo. It contains a huge collection of furniture, documents and historically relevant artwork, especially relating to the Brazilian Empire era.
The most famous work of art in the collection is the 1888 painting Independência ou Morte (Independence or Death) by Pedro Américo.
A few months after the Brazilian Declaration of Independence, people started to suggest a monument on the site where the declaration took place, although they were not sure of what kind of monument would be the best suited. In 1884 the project was accepted by the Italian architect Tommaso Gaudenzio Bezzi, who chose a monumental building with eclectic style.

Das Museu Paulista (Museu do Ipiranga) ist ein Museum in der brasilianischen Stadt São Paulo.
Das Museum wurde als Denkmal an die Unabhängigkeit Brasiliens vom italienischen Ingenieur Tommaso Gaudenzio Bezzi, dessen Entwurf von 1881 drei Jahre später durch die Provinzregierung angenommen wurde, geplant und zwischen 1885 bis 1889 vom ebenfalls italienischen Architekten Luigi Pucci errichtet. Bei dem Bauwerk handelt es sich um einen Palastbau im neoklassischen (eklektistischen) Stil, der nach dem vereinfachten Idealmodell eines Renaissance-Palastes gestaltet ist. Ein eleganter, mit Portiken versehener Zentralbau mit zwei großen Seitenflügeln charakterisieren das Gebäude. Die Gesamtlänge der Fassade beträgt 123 Meter. Der realisierte Bau entspricht nicht dem ursprünglichen, im Museum ausgestellten Modell. Dieses sah einen zusätzlichen Abschlusstrakt an jeder Seite vor.
Es ist anzunehmen, dass praktisch die gesamte Baumannschaft aus Italienern bestanden haben muss (die an vielen anderen Großprojekten jener Zeit in São Paulo beteiligt waren), da die Brasilianer, die zu der Zeit immer noch in traditioneller Schilfrohrtechnik bauten, wahrscheinlich nicht genügend Fachkräfte zur Realisierung eines solchen Monumentalbaus aus Stein hätten zusammenziehen können.
1889 wurde der Bau für beendet erklärt, obwohl die Freitreppe und die Eingangshalle noch nicht fertiggestellt waren, weil die notwendigen Materialien nicht rechtzeitig aus Italien eingetroffen waren. Diese werden wenig später fertiggestellt.
Das Museum zeigt mit einem Fundus von 125.000 Objekten eine völkerkundlich-historische Ausstellung über Brasilien und insbesondere eine Abteilung zur Geschichte São Paulos, die u.a. ein Modell der Stadt im Jahre 1841 besitzt. Das Museum gehört zur Universität von São Paulo und ist als Forschungs- und Lehrbetrieb sehr aktiv. Den ursprünglichen Grundstein der Sammlung bildet das Inventar des ehemaligen Muséu Sertório, welches dem Obersten Joaquim Sertório gehörte, und von Francisco de Paula Mayrinck 1890 als Geschenk an den Staat São Paulo von diesem erworben wurde. Das Museu Paulista als Institution wurde 1893 durch ein Gesetz ins Leben gerufen, und die Sammlung Sertório wurde darauf hin 1894 in den Museumspalast verbracht.
Die feierliche Eröffnung des Museu Paulista fand am 7. September 1895 statt.
Im Laufe der Jahre wurde der Palastbau mit weiteren dekorativen Elementen versehen. Namentlich wurden zwei aus der Hand des italienischen Bildhauers Luigi Brizzolara stammende große Statuen der Bandeirantes António Raposo Tavares und Fernão Dias Paes aufgestellt.

Space fans have been sending their names to Mars and other extraterrestrial destinations for more than two decades, and it’s that time again: From now until Sept. 30, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory is taking names for the Mars 2020 rover mission.
All you have to do is type your name and location into an online form on NASA’s website and hit the “Send” button. You’ll instantly get the opportunity to print out or save a souvenir boarding pass, listing more than 300 million miles’ worth of faux frequent-flier award points.
Once all the names pass muster, they’ll be handed over to JPL’s Microdevices Laboratory to be etched onto a silicon chip with an electron beam. Each line of text will be a mere 75 nanometers wide — which is less than a thousandth the thickness of a human hair.
That’s small enough to get more than a million names inscribed onto a dime-sized microchip. But even at that rate, it’s likely to take more than one chip to do the job. After all, more than 2.4 million names were etched on two chips that were sent to Mars on NASA’s InSight lander last year.
If anything, the Mars 2020 rover will be an even bigger deal, thanks to its role in NASA’s accelerating campaign to look for evidence of ancient life on Mars.
“We want everyone to share in this journey of exploration,” Thomas Zurbuchen, associate administrator for NASA’s Science Mission Directorate in Washington, said in a news release. “It’s an exciting time for NASA, as we embark on this voyage to answer profound questions about our neighboring planet, and even the origins of life itself.”
The 2,300-pound, car-sized rover is due for liftoff in mid-2020, with touchdown on the Red Planet scheduled for February 2021. The rover’s main mission at Jezero Crater will be to explore what’s thought to be the site of an ancient river delta on the edge of a giant impact basin. The crater’s rocks and soil may contain organic molecules and other traces of microbial life.
“The delta is a good place for evidence of life to be deposited and then preserved for the billions of years that have elapsed since this lake was present,” Mars 2020 project scientist Ken Farley said last November, when NASA revealed where the rover would be going.
The plutonium-powered rover will collect samples for saving up, with the intention of finding a way to return the samples during a future round trip to Mars. NASA also plans to pack a mini-helicopter on the rover, along with an experiment aimed at producing oxygen from Mars’ thin carbon-dioxide atmosphere.
Such a technology could come in handy when astronauts set up shop on the Red Planet, perhaps as early as the 2030s. And who knows? Decades or centuries from now, interplanetary explorers might well be able to recover the name-laden microchips from the Mars 2020 rover’s frame. Let’s just hope they bring their microscopes.
