Just by reading scriptures, one cannot experience the knowledge of the Self that Lord Krishna gave to Arjuna; one needs to have a living Gnani in front of him. This is the most important aspect of Self-Realization.

I’ and ‘My’ are two separate elements but due to ignorance, one believes that there is one element only. ‘I’ is your true Self, it is permanent and ‘My’ is relative that is temporary.

I feel so much better today. I had an amazing conversation with one of my best friends last night and it was truly a pick-me-up. Olivia loves me for who I am. Not the happy go lucky girl that makes people laugh, but all of me. Just Shan. I'm truly learning to accept myself for all that I am lately and it's a great feeling. I would have to say that self actualization is THE best feeling in the entire world!

As the age advances, the objects of happiness change. But since the object itself is temporary, it cannot give permanent happiness. One can attain permanent happiness only from one's true Self, as it is permanent; it doesn’t change. So, realize your true Self.
