Giving a good pose for the camera

OK so I am totally obsessed with my 85mm lens, it works wonders, and I especially love it at F-stop 1.4, gosh it is my all time favorite lens!

Also, I'm back home, this is the last picture I'm cheating on... I took it today, but now I am caught up!

I could barely keep my eyes open today, I felt so tired, and my eyes also hurt, I should wear my glasses more often.

I am feeling better. I got out the bed today JUST to take an actual decent picture for 365.. other than the half dead ones I have found myself taking over the past three days. I am still not 100%, but running on fumes. I will be up and running and back to normal soon. Right now though... I want to go back to sleep!

For some reason he reminds me a bit of Leondardo di Capro in this picture--I NEVER think he looks like that normally, but something about the eyes...

I've been experimenting to see if I can replicate the effects of Hipstamatic or Retro camera in GIMP. (Some would ask why.) For this print, I added some RGB noise, adjusted the curves to a custom setting (see beckajaynephotography.blogspot.com/2007/06/gimp-tutorial-..., and added a vignette via a simple gradient of my own devising.

Today just a big rainy mess where we didn't do anything all day so my motivation was lacking. I tried to take another self potrait. Not too bad, concerning. I can't believe how much my freckles show up even in black & white.

day thirty three

had a psychiatric evaluation today (for the head injury, not for the voices in my head. i like the voices).

not completly there yet but hopefully everything will get back to normal in the next six months or so. until then i'll keep tieing string round my finger everytime i need to remember something :)

My eyes are a bit odd, they are mostly grey with flecks of yellow so they appear to change colour..
