day 17
My birthday tomorrow (15 May) and went to see Jersey Boys with my friend Christine in London :-) The story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
Had a half day holiday too!
Thanks to Jenny for the tickets. It was good! But my boots were high and I walked a lot in London so my feet were very sore by the time I got home. If there had been a shoe shop open at 11pm I would definitely have bought some new shoes!!

I had a good day. I relaxed all day. I went out of the house today. That was fun.
The sweeter the taste I love it
Eaten your gutted spine
All of your thoughts I have them
Spitting them out, sublime
(Cos) I am the god of power
Political to the core
Governments roll their heads out
The beast always wants some more
I love it
He loves it
We love your apathy
We crush your
Lame spirit
We love your apathy
Love-er-ly
I have the information
(That) keeps you from knowing me
I abuse you as you watch me
And you always vote me in
The poorer you are the better
That gives me more control
C'os I am the brute that hates you
(And I'm) loving it to the bone
Why don't you wait till you bleed
Why don't you wait for the clause
And I'll, and I'll, and I'll, and I'll
And I will watch you
I'll wait for you
I'll wait, I'll wait for you

we love your apathy

look at this, it's monday night again, and we are out to eat. country kitchen this time, not denny's. ck has better fries in my opinion.
i'm totally ready for the summer to be over with. all my girls are leaving and the shop is really hard pressed for employees, and the arcade was crazy busy tonight. we were so swamped and there where these horrible pricks.
why do bothersome people come on vacation?!
So a few years back I got diagnosed with some problems with my gall bladder. The (traditional) doctors wanted me to have an operation to have it removed. But I decided that if I could avoid surgery - I would. So I've been able to control it through changing my diet and also consulting a Naturopath who has prescribed me natural tinctures etc to help support this. So I got a bit over confident as I hadn't had any pain - so have not been taking the potions and recently I've let the diet slip a little.
And so my gall bladder has been letting me know ... ouch!
So I am now listening to my body again and trying to be better! Fingers crossed.

PS this was a bit greener (a bit sickly looking - which is the effect I wanted) on my screen - ah well never mind)

Frozen into coats,
White girls of the North,
Filed past one, five and one
They are the fabled lambs,
A Sunday ham,
The ancient snow.
And they could float above the grass,
In circles if they tried,
A latent power I'm known to hide,
To keep some hope alive,
That a girl like I could ever try,
Could ever try.
So we just skirt the hallway signs,
A phantom and a fly,
Follow the lines and wonder why
There's no connection.
And weakened falling eyes,
In cheap shots from the tribe,
And we're often in Marcus’ porch again,
Another afternoon with the gold head tunes,
And pilfered booze.
We wandered through the mama's house,
And the milk from the window lights,
Family portrait circa ninety-five,
This is that foreign land,
With the sprayed on tans,
And it all feels fine,
Beats circus slime,
So, when they tap our mundane heads,
To zombie-walk in our stead,
This town seems hardly worth our time,
And we'll no longer memorize or rhyme,
Too far along in our climb,
Stepping over what now towers to the sky,
With no connection.
Oooh waooooooo waooooooo
Oooh waooooooo waooooooo
Oooh waooooooo waooooooo
Oooh waooooooo waooooooo

Gracias infinitas Jackie.
Besos y abrazos para todos.
PD: mis brazos están afirmando la cámara.

Somebody somebody
Come to my side
I'm tired i'm crying
I'm sick inside
My woman that woman
Just wasn't right
Help me now please my friend
I never felt so bad before
Never never before
So funny so funny
Just like a show
One name two people
All in a row
Somebody somebody
Someone must go
I was hurt when i was younger
By a woman who was cold
She took my name
She took my body
And she threw away my soul
Can't hide i can't hide my misery
I know my sorrow won't set me free
She did it d'you see she did it to me
Help me now please my friend
I never felt so bad before
Never never before

stretch! my physio gave me tons of random odd stretches to keep everything from falling apart and seizing up. i don't crunch and pop as much any more and i'm getting the strength back too so i think they're working. this is one of the odder shoulder ones.
In need of some light entertainment before a stupidly busy week to come, I took to the bath last night with Princess Ducky - who - as you can see - lights up!! Yay. Good times. Thanks to Christine for the fab-u-licious Christmas pressie!
Will be struggling to a pic a day this week - but will do my best - but apologies in advance if I don't get time to comment on your photos this week.
Have a Flickring great week.

My friend makes ice cream. She brought me a cake for my birthday back in February and brought this as well. Every darn time I look in the freezer now, I start singing, "Raspberry sorbet... The kind you find in a second hand store."
Just thought I'd share the love. Is it stuck in your head now, too?
Mwahahaha!!!
Here I was checking my flickr account, browsing some images and watching "Dirty Jobs" on Discovery Channel, was getting ideas to my photo a day, was going to post this shot, but it was pretty simple and didn't make it to the set.
