The Vegetarian Festival is celebrated in the month of October all over Thailand, but mostly in Phuket. The festival is also known as the “Tesagan Gin Je” or the “Nine Emperor Gods Festival”. This festival is filled with tradition and excitement. Most of the people taking part in the festival are of Chinese heritage, 30% of the population in Thailand. The festival started in 1825 when a Chinese circus act came to town and a sickness broke out amongst the artists. They healed themselves by following a strict vegetarian diet. These days the festival is a VERY exciting event full of surprises and amazing photo opportunities. If you haven’t experienced something like this before, brace yourself…….

I got sand in my blister.
Eeeewww.
It was actually less painful than it looks; I didn't even notice it until I happened to glance at the bottom of my foot.

This was my first shoot i did in a real studio, not just one i set up in my basement. Felt great :]
This is wrong on so many levels. Mum didn't want to bother dad with a hangnail, which u can see here, so she started to nibble it off.
She then wondered why there was so much blood...............because she had chewed the top of her finger off................................................................DISGUSTINGGGGGGGGGGG. Pretty much nothing grosses me out, ever.......I am my fathers daughter (and he was a nurse for 40 years and 2 tours of Vietnam as a medic) .....but this...this for some reason......revolts me utterly.
I SO HATE ROYAL PERTH HOSPITAL FOR THIS SHIT!
More info on this saga here........if you have not a clue wtf I am talking about.
Singa, not content with the plethora of toys, decides to try to take a bite out of her leg instead. Or maybe she is still hungry... After her early days of force-feeding there has never been any trouble to get her to eat. The problem is the reverse: she eats everything, all the time and we have to guard her at feeding time. Otherwise she would steal her mummy's food right away since she is a fast eater too. Pippi and Ganyi eat in separate rooms to avoid fighting - Basenjis (Ganyi) are VERY 'protective' when it comes to food.
A toothache is one of the worst pains one could be inflicted with... so much so that sometimes the pain is so intense that drastic measures have to be taken.
A visit to the dentist is not always necessary as long as you have the right tools for the job at home.

So yesterday I decided to cut my hair, and no one really knows Ive done it. So my hair is a flickr exclusive!
Yesterday I was got to work early and was reading a Harper's Bazzar. A 500 page magazine, and only one photo of a woman with short hair. Straight, long hair was where it was at. I couldnt believe how fucking bo-ring it was. So, after work, I called my salon, and they said if I got there in the next five minutes they could fit me in.
So there I went, and chop chop chop.
With all the major changes in my life, I just felt like throwing in another one.
Or maybe its just me acting out with some self mutilation.
But lets face it. Hair. Grows.
Death, taxes, and hair grows. I couldnt stop it if I tried. So why not chop it all off? Fuck it.
since chopping it, I look around and every woman I see has long hair. And it just seems like they all have had the same hair style since high school. Last night a woman was telling me that she loved my hair, but was too emotionally attached to hears. "i could never" she whispered.
Long hair just now seems so boring, common, unstyled, un-chic. Not long hair thats styled persay, but more often than not, its left to simply hang there.
And although I'm still figuring out how to style it, I like it.
Tomorow I'm going to have it dyed a bit more blonde.
Self destructive behavior
Self mutilation
Sharp pins and
Knives
Diet pills and
Starvation
All apart of the past
No longer in our lives
NOTE: No real blood was used for this photo.
Entry for the Logica Global "Flag" Photo Competition. The idea is to produce an image that enshrines one of the company values and which also features a Logica flag.
In this case, it is the value of Committed.

Here is a drawing I did during darker days in college. A lot of guys in the dorm saw it and were a little freaked out by it.
I saw Red Riding Hood last week. It wasn't worth nine dollars, but it was worth more than the dollar theater price. Too many things were wrong in the film, and I laughed at quite a few aspects (including a plentiful amount of gingers and the twilight-esque love triangle). Go see a matinee, it was creepy. Kind of.
Or maybe I've been reading too much about with-hunts.
